The boy, terrified over the huge risk he was taking, hesitantly asked, "Are you sure?"
"Dead certain," the elder confirmed. "Now go!"
"T- thanks sir.. I owe you my life. Y-"
"Shut up and hurry before my unhinged brother wakes up! And remember to complete your job. Keep me updated! I'll find a way out for the others soon."
The younger nodded with determination before pushing the throttle forward, steering the lifeboat far from the ship.
He couldn't believe he was finally breaking free from the vicious life he had been trapped in under that psycho of a leader. It was the captain's brother, a true hero, who gave him the chance to escape once and for all. Now, he could live a life free of crime, but only after completing one final mission.
Thus, he accelerated the ship, beginning his journey to embrace the refreshing feeling of liberty.
And the journey to redeem himself.
To spill the elusive answer only he had.

Jeongin was frustrated out of his mind. He had a storm of questions revolving within his head, creating wild havoc as he struggled to focus on anything.
He needed answers.
Answers that nobody wanted to tell him. Answers that he'd go to any lengths to get. Answers that could give his mind a even an atom of peace. Answers that others thought he was too young to know. Answers to justify all of the mess that had happened.
Answers to all the questions he'd ever had.
The youngest watched his agitated bandmates from where he stood against a white hospital wall, weighing his options for whom to approach in search of answers.
The fuming racha looked like they might explode any moment, so approaching them seemed impossible. They had been showing nothing but anger throughout the chaos, determined to stay strong for the younger members. For the past half hour, the three had been on their phones, typing and reading stuff furiously. They were likely coordinating with the management or possibly texting each other. Jeongin suspected the latter since he heard them exchange words about making plans for the unsettling future. He desperately wanted to help, but for that he needed answers, and they were simply unapproachable.
His attention then shifted to Jisung, who was struggling to calm his own panic attacks. He had been silently crying, and Jeongin felt his already ruined heart break seeing his brothers in such distress. He wished he could comfort his bandmates, but his own mind was consumed by too much turmoil.
Next was Felix, who was in the worst condition; understandable, for he had been the unfortunate one to witness the terrifying tragedy unfold helplessly, in his very bedroom beside. The Aussie's emotional state was so erratic, frequently switching between intense fury and immense grief, that a team of psychologists had to take him away for a much-needed therapy.
The youngest realised that there was only one person left who could have answers, but he wasn't in sight. As he wondered where Seungmin might have gone, he was jolted from his thoughts by a tap on his shoulder.
"I'm going to get some fresh air," Han informed before heading towards what he guessed was the hospital's open yard.
Jeongin glanced back at the eldest three, who were still seething with rage, and decided to follow the quokka-like, hoping to find Seungmin on the way. Once they reached the open space, the singer mentally thanked nature for offering even the slightest ease to his extremely vexed brain and nerves.
