-ONE MONTH LATER-
One month had passed since Leo had begun training alongside the soldiers of the Glacialia Kingdom. His progress with his snow power had been nothing short of extraordinary. Where once he struggled to even manifest a controlled flurry, he now wielded the icy elements with confidence and precision. Each training session was a testament to how far he had come, and his soldiers—once wary of training alongside their young prince—now looked at him with a newfound respect.
The training grounds were abuzz with activity, the sound of clashing swords and shouts of commands filling the air. Leo, now clad in armor suited to a prince and warrior, moved with the grace and skill of someone who had truly embraced his role. Cavalry Commander Aurora, who oversaw the drills, stood at the edge of the grounds, her sharp gaze observing every movement.
"Prince Leo!" one of the soldiers called out, stepping forward. "Will you demonstrate the technique again?"
Leo nodded, stepping into the center of the field. He raised his hand, feeling the familiar chill gathered in his palm. Snowflakes began to swirl around him as he focused his energy. With a flick of his wrist, a stream of frost shot out, coating the training dummies in a layer of ice, freezing them solid. He had learned to temper his power, controlling both the strength and the range of his abilities. No longer did it surge uncontrollably—he had mastered it.
The soldiers erupted into cheers, clearly impressed by their prince’s mastery over his gift. Leo, though still modest, allowed himself a small smile. He had come a long way from the boy who feared his own strength.
Aurora stepped forward, clapping her hands to gather everyone’s attention. "Enough. Back to your drills!" Her voice was commanding, but there was a glint of pride in her eyes as she looked at Leo. "You've come far, Prince Leo," she said quietly as the soldiers resumed their practice. "But remember, there’s still more to learn."
Leo nodded, his expression serious. "I know. I still need to master combining my snow power with swordsmanship."
Aurora smirked. "That will come with time. You're on the right path."
Leo wiped the sweat from his brow and nodded. "I understand, Commander Aurora. There's still much to learn."
Aurora smiled. "Indeed. In two years, you’ll be attending Regal Elite Academy, where you’ll join other royals and nobles in your training to become a hero. It's an opportunity to refine your skills and prepare for the challenges that lie ahead."
Leo’s eyes sparkled with determination. The idea of attending Regal Elite Academy has always excited him. It was a prestigious institution where he would not only sharpen his abilities but also face the reality of a world where villains posed constant threats.
“I’m looking forward to it,” Leo said, his voice resolute. “I want to be ready to protect my kingdom and those who need it.”
Aurora placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “You’re on the right path, Prince. Just continue to train hard and stay focused. The road to becoming a hero is challenging, but I have no doubt you’ll excel.”
As Leo gazed out over the training grounds, he felt a surge of anticipation for the future. The prospect of attending Regal Elite Academy, of joining forces with other royals and nobles, and of facing the trials ahead, filled him with both excitement and determination.
For now, he would continue to train and prepare, knowing that in two years, he would take the next step in his journey to becoming a hero.
As Leo gazed out over the training grounds, a look of pure determination etched across his face, Aurora—Inko—watched him with a mixture of pride and nostalgia. Her thoughts drifted back to a time before Leo lost his memories, when he was just a young boy with grand dreams of heroism.
