-It was the day to present their project-
Matthew was presenting their project infront of the whole class. When he finished, everyone applaused. They did a really good job.
He was very happy too, his eyes were only at y/n, smiling at her

-Next day-
Y/n just sat on her sit when Matthew came and sat beside her

Matthew: Hiii. (Smiley)
Y/n: Heyyyy. (Smiley)
Ricky: Man, didn't your project ended yesterday? Then why are you sitting beside Y/n again?
Matthew: I didn't know we had to be project partners to sit beside her. Then why are you beside her? Are you her new partner?(scoffed)
Ricky: Hey don't you know I'm her boyfriend?
Matthew: I'm also her boy-friend. I am a boy too you know!
(Before ricky could say anything more, the teacher came and started the class)

-Lunch time-
Ricky: Y/naaa let's have lunch together, It's been a while.
Y/n: sure...
(They were peacefully eating when suddenly Matthew came and sat next to Y/n)
Ricky: You again (irritated)
Matthew: Ahhhh you again too!
Y/n: Guys let's not talk too much while eating (she tried to stop them before they become wild again)
Matthew: Y/nieeee why are you eating so little. Eat this. It's tasty- (he was about to give Y/n a strawberry tart but Ricky quickly stopped him)
Ricky: Don't give it to her. She is allergic to strawberries.
Y/n: It's ok Ricky, he didn't know
Matthew: I am so sorry Y/n I really didn't know (he felt guilty)
Y/n: It's totally alright.

----------
-After class ended-

Ricky: Y/naaaa let me drop you at home-
Matthew: Y/nieeee come with me, I'm gonna drop you home. I know the roads now. Plus I'm going that way too.
Y/n: ok then. Your house is the opposite way Ricky. You don't need to drop me. I'll just go with Matthew.
(Saying that they both left again leaving Ricky behind)

-On the way-
Matthew was driving the car when he stopped infront of a flower shop,
Then cameback with some flowers

Y/n: Woahhh these are sooo pretty
Matthew: Not as much as you
(Y/n blushed but continue inhaling the smell of the carnations)

----
-Reached home-

Y/n: Thanks for the ride. And also for the flowers. (Smiley)
Matthew: I am glad that you liked them. I really wanted to give you something pleasant to show my gratitude.
If you didn't help me, I couldn't have succeeded on that huge project.
Thankyou.
Y/n: No you could have done that even without me. Plus it was a team project.
Matthew: About that Y/n, now we are not a team or partner. Are you still going to be my friend? (He was actually nervous though he behaved that way to Ricky, deep down he was worried too, what if she didn't wanna be friends with him after their project ended!)
Y/n: Ofcourse I will!
Matthew: Thank you. Thankyou soooo much .
Also one more thing.

Y/n: Why? Are you gonna get A+ studying me!? (Laughed)
Matthew: Not for A+.
I need to know these, to know you.
I want to know you Y/n. (Saying that he started at her intensely)
(Y/n's heart skipped a bit. And without any warning he hugged me. Very warmly.
And then just left, leaving me there like a blushing mess!

From that day both of their heart started to feel a new emotion towards each other.
Y/n was confused because she never felt these feelings before. She didn't know what to call it.
Whereas Matthew was sure that he liked her.
He liked her very much.
