-It was their study tour day-
They were going to the Busan sea. All of them were so excited.
Y/n was about to leave when suddenly her eyes saw a man, waiting for her.

Y/n: What are you doing here?
Ricky: No hi or hello! Straight to interrogation! And
Why can't I come to my pretty girlfriend's house?
I'm your boyfriend right?
Y/n: ye-yeah. (Right. He was her boyfriend, but she almost forgot about that)
Let's go (without any further talk she went to his car and they drove to college)

-Author's pov-
Matthew was waiting for her, when he saw her coming out of Ricky's car. Seeing Ricky's sheer perfection he began to think of him as his competition.

---On the way---
They were now on a bus, going to Busan.
Ricky sat beside Y/n and Matthew sat on the next row, beside Y/n, so technically three of them were sitting together!
On their way Matthew and Y/n kept on talking like teenagers.

Matthew: You know Y/n I loveeeee seaaaaas! I'm a great swimmer!
Y/n: That's awesome! You know I also love seas but too chicken to swim!
Ricky also can't swim.
Matthew: That's not a big deal. I'll go to the water with you. Don't worry.
Y/n: That would be great!

-At the beach-
Every student enjoyed themselves. As promised Matthew took Y/n with him to the sea.
Ricky: Are you sure Y/n? You know you can't swim right? I can't swim either! What if-
Matthew: Don't worry Man! I'm gonna keep your girl safe! Trust me. (As much as his heart ached calling her as another man's, he couldn't help but assure Ricky as he was genuinely worried)
Y/n: Yes don't worry that much. (Ricky looked a bit assured hearing her so without more delays, they went to the sea right away, they took some photos too.)

-Author's pov-
They were enjoying very much. Matthew hold her hand very strongly, never to let go. When a sudden huge wave made them separated.
Y/n started to panic and was drowning slowly slowly.
The wave was so strong so it took Matthew some time to reach towards Y/n.
On the other way, Ricky was panicking like hell but couldn't do anything as he was water phobic.

After a while Matthew brought her up to the land in his arms.
Ricky ran to her as fast as he could. And snatched her out of his arms, hugging her like theres no tomorrow. Seeing him a crying mess made Matthew realised, Ricky genuinely loved her so much.

-The trip was only for the day so they all came home at the night-
The whole ride back Y/n was asleep and Matthew kept on staring at her, feeling guilty that maybe he was really not right for her.

-After reaching there Matthew stopped Ricky and ran to a medicine store-

Matthew: I know you are mad at me. But please take these with you and give it to Y/n when she reaches home?
Ricky: She doesn't need your help. She has me. Also, you saw right, what your childish behaviour did to her?
If you care for Y/n even for a bit please stay out of our relationship. We both really love each other.
(Y/n was still asleep so she was unaware of the whole situation)

-Matthew's pov-
He is right. Maybe I'm really not good for her. I should stay away. From the very beginning I knew I don't even match her vibe.
But what about my heart?
It still wants Y/n,
only Y/n
