Lunch was over and i walked out of the hall and accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh my god I'm so sorry" i looked up and saw a cute brunet boy. "it's okay, no one is hurt so no worries" he said calmly and smiled at me.
His smile was warm and sweet. "I'm y/n" i introduced and i held out my hand for him to shake it. "I'm Cedric, nice to meet you y/n." he introduced as well, shook my hand and his smile grew even wider. "it's nice to meet you too, but i got to go now" i said smiling as well when i walked past him, turning around one more time to wave at him, and walked away.
I got to the common room and felt butterflies in my stomach. He was kind of cute. I sat down on a chair next to the fireplace. I was smiling to myself when suddenly Pansy walked in. "Who made you smile like that?" she asked smirking at me. "a boy" i whispered. Her eyes lit up and she walked over to me and sat on my lap with her legs dangling off the chair. "Tell me now" she demanded. "it's nothing special, i just bumped into him and he was kind of cute and really nice." i explained and i felt my cheeks heat up. "Oh my god" she yelled out. "What's his name?"
"Cedric" i muttered. "Diggory?" she exclaimed. "Shh, please quiet down." i shushed. "Sorry, it's just, i'm proud of you" she gave me a warm smile. She got off me and looked at me one more time. "i'm going to go shower, what are you going to do?"
"i guess that the boys will walk in any moment so i think i will just talk to them." she nodded and walked upstairs.
I moved from the chair to the chough, picked up my book that was on the table and lay down. Just a few minutes later, like i said, the boys walked in. Regulus walked over, slapped my legs making me move them, and sat down next to me. "Where have you been?" i wondered. "On our way over here, we saw some brooms and we decided to ride them through the halls." he said with a proud smile. I chuckled at that. "We got detention for that by the way" i rolled my eyes and laughed. "idiots" i laughed out.
We all talked and laughed for a long time, and it was getting closer to dinner, when suddenly someone walked in. It caught everyone's attention. I turned to look and saw Riddle. I just rolled my eyes and turned back around. The rest did as well except for Draco and Reggie who just kept glaring at him until he left the room again. I felt a tension in the room, and it was strong. "Shall we go to dinner?" Blaise asked, breaking the tension. at that moment Pansy walked back in. Everyone agreed and we all walked out of the room towards the great hall.

It was October and almost Halloween. I love halloween and i was so excited. There was a huge party planned on Halloween. I actually didn't want to go and instead just read scary books, but Pansy kept begging me to go with her and i eventually gave in. So we are going costume shopping today. classes had ended and we were getting ready, it was cold outside so i decided to put on a green tank top with on top of that a dark gray sweater and some baggy light blue pants. After i put on my clothes, i put my hair into a messy bun and put on some jewelry.

We were walking to Hogsmeade, and it was even colder than expected, so i put on a beige scarf. We arrived at Hogsmeade and walked into a shop of costumes and dresses. I decided that i was just going to wear a dress, nothing special. We walked around for a while and Pansy had already found a dress but i hadn't, i just couldn't find the perfect dress. We walked around for another thirty minutes when i had finally found my dress. "Look Pansy, its perfect." i shouted at her from another isle. She rushed over to me and took a look at the dress. "Your right, it is perfect, you should get it." she suggested. "i will." It was a silk red maxi dress. And i also bought a black leather jacket with it.
We walked out of the shop and walked towards Hogwarts again when we suddenly saw Riddle, walking out of one of the shops. Pansy pulled her arm away from my arm which was holding hers and rushed towards him. I tried to grab her but i was too late. She stopped in front of him and slapped him across the face, hard. I rushed over to her and grabbed her by the arms, pulling her back. "That's what you get when you hurt my best friend." she yelled at him. After he was out of sight i let go of her and she laughed out loud. After a few seconds i joined her and we kept laughing on our way back.

We were back at Hogwarts and i took off my scarf. I wrapped it around the strap of my bag. The party was over two days. We went to our common room and went upstairs to our dorm room. We put our dresses in our wardrobes. We went downstairs and sat down on the chough with the boys. "i still can't believe you did that." i laughed. "Did what?" Blaise wondered. "She slapped Riddle across the face" i said very proud and laughed even louder throwing my head back and Pansy did the same gently hitting me whilst doing so. The boys chuckled at the sentence and at the sight of us almost dying of laughter.

We had dinner and were back in the common room for a while now. It was getting late, and a few people had already gone to bed. The only ones left were me, Draco and Regulus. "i guess i'm going to bed as well, goodnight y/n, night Draco" Regulus said. "Goodnight Reggie." i replied and smiled at him. He walked off and now it was only me and Draco, again. "So, how have you been since, you know?" he asked softly. "Not bad. How have you been since, you know?" i mocked him and smirked. "Not bad." He mocked me back, making me scoff. "It was great talking to you and all but i'm going to bed now" i said sarcastically and stood up. "Goodnight y/n" he muttered not even looking up at me not meaning for me to hear. But i did. "Goodnight Draco" i said back making him look up and i smiled at him before walking off.
