Chapter 100: The Wedding Day Part 2

Now back at the chamber, Chrysalis was looking at the soon-to-be-married couple laughing in an evil-like manner. Cadence goes over to the cell door.

Cadence: I don't know what you're trying to do, but I will not allow you to ruin this day.

Chrysalis stops laughing and looks at Cadence.

Chrysalis: Oh, but I am ruining this day. Ruining it by leading your friend into a trap.

Cadence: If it's (Y/N) you wanted, then why didn't you take him?

Chrysalis: Because... Maeve doesn't want me to harm him. She wants to be the one to bring him harm. As a servant of hers, I have to obey. So, I figured, why not take away some important people in his life? Like you! Since you fired me, I had to rot in prison. All because that guardian angel had to tell you everything!

Cadence: He had a right to tell me about you!

Chrysalis: And now, he's going to pay!

This made Cadence growl.

Cadence: Don't you dare hurt him.

Chrysalis then walks away laughing as Shining and Cadence get worried. Shining puts his hand on Cadence's shoulder.

Shining Armor: Hey, (Y/N)'s strong enough to stop her. I know he can do it.

Cadence: I'm worried about him, Shining. I'm worried that he might walk into her trap.

Shining Armor: He's capable of handling such things. I've seen what he can do, and I know he can do it.

Cadence then looked at Shining.

Cadence: (sighs) That's not the only thing. There's something I need to tell you before we continue the wedding.

Back at the Altar, you, Sci-Twi, and the rest of the girls were trying to figure out where Cadence and Shining went. You went as a Snifflehunch to try and track their scent, but it was coming up faint.

(Y/N): (to Sci-Twi) No luck. Whatever she was using, it blocked my senses. There's no way I could track them.

You then revert to human form and see Sci-Twi was devastated. You go over to hug her.

(Y/N): Hey. It's ok. We'll find your brother and Cadence.

Twilight: How do we do that when there aren't any trails of evidence that show where they could have gone?

Sunset: Twilight's right. Without any evidence or anything to find them, we can't do anything.

Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless walked up to the Altar.

Hiccup: Any luck?

(Y/N): No luck. It's like they've vanished without a trace. (to Sci-Twi) Do you have anything that belongs to your brother that might help us find him?

Sci-Twi thought for a moment.

Sci-Twi: I might have something. I'll go look in the changing rooms.

Sunset: I'll go with you.

Twilight: Same here.

The three of them then ran back to the changing rooms to look for anything to help you out. You stared at the spot for a while with a concerned look.

Applejack: Is somethin' on your mind, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): First Tirek, and now Chrysalis? Why does Maeve have these people working with her? It just doesn't add up. It's even worse because Tirek is back. Now I feel like a part of my past is coming back to haunt me.
