Chapter two

*RING* Finally!!!

I rushed out of my sixth hour, and went straight to my locker to get my backpack.

"Kenzie!!!!" I heard someone yell. I whipped my head around just quick enough to see Lexi, right before she almost knocked me over with her hug.

Lexi's one of my best friends, i've known her since third grade.

She helped me pick my papers up that had fell out of my backpack and we walked out of school together.

*ding* *ding* *ding*

"Jesus Kenzie! Answer your phone! haha" , Lexi said.

Sorry Lexi, it's just Carissa and Diane.

"ummmmm who??", said Lexi sounding confused.

Carissa and Diane!! I told you about them at lunch?

"Ohhh yah I remember now, they seem cool. ANYWAYS I gotta go so bye homie" Lexi yelled while walking away.

I hurried to get on my bus and sat down next to Raven.

"Whats up wifeyy?", said Raven jokingly.

Haha nothing just checking my phone, I replied

I saw that Diane had added me to a group chat on kik, I recognized Carissa but I saw another name.

I kik'd diane private and asked her who the other person was.

She responded with-

ohhh aha that's Naja, I'll introduce you!!

Thanks Diane, you're the best!, I told her.

Diane introduced me and from there on me and Naja were friends.

Though it didn't last long.

After only a few weeks, I felt a vibration from my phone. It was Diane, telling me to text her ASAP.

I hurriedly texted her and asked what was up? She responded with "ITS NAJA".

I was confused, I thought they were best friends?

"IM SO DONE WITH HER, all she does is lie and lie and lie, and I called her out and she wrote a paragraph about how "stupid" and "fake" I am on Instagram! Stupid bitch!"

Whatabishhh

I texted her back saying "Woah Diane calm down, just block her and we won't talk to her anymore."

She agreed and we dropped the subject.

The next day

*ring ring* Diane was calling me and I hesitantly answered, thinking she was gonna yell about NAJA again.

"KENZ I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS!!", she yelled through the phone kind of hurting my ears.

" Haha okay just tell me Diane", I said laughing.

" I have a crush!!! Her name is Jorge,
and I think she likes me too!!", Diane said sounding like she was about to hyperventilate.

"SEND ME A PIC SEND ME A PIC", I yelled excitedly.

Diane went to kik and sent me a pic from Jorge's Instagram.

"AWHHHHH she's cute!", I said happily.

"I know right!!! We've been talking for a while and I think I'm going to ask her out." , she said quietly.

"You should!! And send me screenshots!", I was so excited for her.

"Of course Kenzie! I'm gonna do it tomorrow after school" , Diane said quickly.

4:00 pm the next day

*ringringringring*
That must be Diane I thought.

I hurriedly went to my messages and read the screenshots, my partner in crime had a girlfriend!! I was so happy.

I typed as quick as I could, messing up most of my words, "oh my god! Diane I'm so happy for you!!"

She replied thank you and she talked about her and how happy she was for the rest of the day.

I learned she's actually from England and that she is 15. By the end of the day I felt like I knew her as well as I know the alphabet.

I finally texted Jessie goodnight, and within a few minutes I drifted off to sleep, thinking about meeting Carissa and Diane one day.
