Romeo
Waking Lucia up this morning was a night mare. She did not want to get up and was refusing to get ready for school. I had to get her up and ready for school today because Santiago had an early business meeting to attend and he couldn't be there in the morning today. But this has been the worst morning with her in a while. Normally she's quite good and will get up easily. But not today.
''Lucia Grace!'' I shout from the bottom of the stairs. I went downstairs a few minutes ago to make her breakfast and told her to get dressed. She was still in bed when I came down but I told her to get up.
I don't hear a response so I quickly fun up the stairs and barge into her room. I see her still lying asleep in bed when I go in. I cant believe this girl right now she's being so difficult.
''Lucia!'' I shout quite loudly making her jump a bit but she just rolled back over in her bed facing away from me. I walk up to her and pick her up out of bed and chuck her over my shoulder and walk back downstairs.
''no, stop'' she whines as I put her down on a bar stool chair to eat her breakfast. ''Lucia eat now, you are going to be so late to school'' I say angrily at her.
''I don't want to go to school'' she stubbornly says pushing her plate of breakfast away from her.
''Lucia, quit the attitude and eat now. You are going to school there's nothing wrong with you and that's that.'' I say to her and push her food back in front of her.
''this is so unfair'' she grumbles. I sigh heavily and start getting my stuff for work ready.
Once Lucia is ready I tell her to quickly go up and change. She listens and starts walking up the stairs but very slowly probably to annoy me on purpose. I don't react to it though and carry on getting ready myself. I wish one of the boys was here to help. Elio also left for work earlier than usual so it was just me and Lu at home.
Finally Lucia comes downstairs and gives me her hair stuff to do her hair. I quickly do it because we are already ten minutes late. She whines when I pull her hair but I don't have the time for her complaints right now.
Eventually we are in the car and heading to Lucia's school. I say goodbye to her and wish her a good day and then I speed of to work.
What a morning that was.
