'Nuke helps Greg into the school, and they walk together side by side, which is quite weird if you ask me. Yeah, I hear you think: " oh but you're just a weird flying thing, stalking their owner...", but I know what I see.

Nuke smiles and chats with Greg, who just smiles back, looking like a total idiot. As they continue down the hallway, I notice Nuke glancing around, taking in the scenery. He seems to be sizing up the school, and I wonder what he's thinking.

Nuke and Greg spend the whole day together, becoming fast friends. It's a weird sight to see - a happy-go-lucky guy like Nuke paired with a awkward, half-demonic kid like Greg. I think to myself, "This doesn't look right. They're complete opposites."

As the day goes on, I notice that Greg seems more relaxed around Nuke. He's laughing and smiling, looking almost...normal. Such a scary sight indeed...

***Time skip***

Soon enough school finally ends, and the pair walk out together. Hmm, i wonder if Nuke is actually considering Greg as a playmate.

"So, Greg... How long have you lived here?" Nuke asked, staring at Greg curiously.

Greg gulped; his answer wasn't an easy one ... He could tell him the truth: "I've lived here for centuries, never ageing..." Or he could tell a small white lie: "my whole life... Why do you ask?"

Greg's eyes darted around, his mind racing with the consequences of revealing his secret. He hesitated, unsure of how Nuke would react.

"Uh, my whole life... Why do you ask?" Greg stammered, opting for the white lie.

Nuke's gaze didn't waver, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Just wondering. You seem...different. Like there's more to you than meets the eye."

Greg's heart skipped a beat. Had Nuke already figured him out? He forced a laugh, trying to deflect.

"Different? Me? Nah, I'm just your average, everyday guy."

Nuke raised an eyebrow. "Average? You're anything but average, Greg."

'I could sense that the remark unsettled Greg, but it seemed impossible that Nuke, a simple-minded mortal, could be aware of Gregor's half-demon secret... or could he?'

Greg gazed downwards, his feelings about the statement unclear. "Do you think I'm... weird?" he inquired.

Nuke observed each shift in Greg's expression, aware of the tales that circulated at school about him. Rumors branded Greg a demon, a witch, a blight upon their town. Yet, Nuke found it impossible to reconcile those stories with the gentle and kind person he saw before him.

"You're not weird, Greg," Nuke said. "You're a bit funny, but that's a good thing—it makes you all the more interesting." Nuke winks at him, causing Greg's face to heat up.

Greg's gaze rose, seeking any hint of deceit in Nuke's expression. However, Nuke's sincere smile and earnest look reassured him.

"Really?" Greg inquired, his tone a soft murmur.

Nuke gave an affirmative nod. "Absolutely. I admire that you stay true to yourself, even when others may not grasp it."

Greg's cheeks reddened, and he averted his gaze, attempting to conceal his feelings. He had never experienced such acceptance before.

"Thanks, Nuke," Greg uttered, his voice breaking.

Nuke's features relaxed. "We're friends, aren't we? Friends don't judge," he said.

A wave of thankfulness filled Greg's heart. For the first time in a long while, he felt a sense of belonging.

They shared a peaceful silence until Nuke, eyes gleaming with inquisitiveness, broke it. "Hey, Greg? Can I ask you something?"
