Photoshoot

The lights blared down from the overhead rigging, illuminating the studio in a dazzling array of bright colours. I stood in front of the camera, striking pose after pose, trying to channel the energy that my manager insisted I exude. Today was a big shoot, and the photographer had high expectations. Once the photographer snapped a few shots.

"Great job sana".

Just then I heard my manager, miss Kang, call out from the side.

"Sana! Can we take a quick break?".

I lowered my arms and walked over.

"Yes manger nim?", I asked.

"You're doing great, but I think we need to have a chat about your weight", she said, her tone carefully measured.

My stomach dropped.

"What do you mean?"

She pulled out a folder, flipping it open to reveal a diet plan.

"I think we should make some adjustments. You need to lose a little weight to fit the brand's new vision for you. It's nothing personal; it's just the industry standards".

"Oh okay".

"Here's a new diet plan I've put together for you", she said, handing me the folder.

"It's going to be tough, but I know you can do it".

I took the folder, flipping through the pages filled with strict meal suggestions and calorie counts.

"This... this looks really restrictive, mangernim".

She nodded, her face softening.

"I understand, and I know it can be frustrating. But this is a temporary thing, and it could really help your career. Just trust me on this one", she said.

"Ill always trust you".

"Great! You're going to shine even brighter, and soon they won't be able to ignore you!".

Minas POV

Cafe

"So, Mina. I've been thinking... How would you feel about being my girlfriend?", he asked.

I felt my cheeks heat up. I hadn't expected him to ask me that so soon.

"Can I have some time to think about it?", I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

He smiled.

"Of course! Take all the time you need. I know it's a big thing to become a stepmother and after everything with your ex-husband. I don't want to pressure you into anything".
