I woke up to the cold autumn breeze fluttering around my room from the window.

I sat up to see Ginny and Hermione already up packing their trunks.

"Morning ren!" Mione smiled at me. "Morning" i groaned as i rubbed my eyes.

I finished my breakfast and grabbed my trunk meeting the rest of the Weasley's as well as harry and my twin sister Hermione.

"Are you all ready?" Molly asked. Everyone agreed as we took flu power to King Cross Station.

We all said our goodbyes as we ran through the brick wall reaching platform 9 1/3.

This was my first year at Hogwarts, i had never been before. I've went to beauxbatons for as-long as i could remember. The only reason I'm not there now is because of the incident that happened a few weeks before the end of the year.

Now i have to start a new school, hopefully a fresh start.

No one really found out about what happened at beauxbatons. They just knew they didn't want me back this year. Whenever they would ask i would ignore it or change the subject.

~

I walked around the train for a bit until i found the trio. I was never really included with them. They just saw me as Hermione's twin sister, nothing more. I was about to enter their cart before i heard Ginny shout my name.

Me and Ginny had gotten close over the summer. She treated me better than just Hermione's sister. I walked over to her as she introduced me to her friends.

I sat down next to Ginny as she giggled and gossiped with her friends. Don't get me wrong, i am grateful she invited me here but i just felt unwelcome. They had been friends for years and i didn't feel like being a new addition. Plus they were all Gryffindor, and i had a feeling i wasn't going to be.

I was sat outside the hall listening to the 1st years getting put into houses when Dumbledore began talking. "Before we begin the incredible feast waiting for you, there is one more student waiting to be sorted. She is joining the 5th years. Please welcome Serenity Granger!"

I walked through the large doors with my head held high ignoring all the whispers around me.

'how come she is just joining now?'

'i didn't know Hermione had a twin sister'

'she is definitely a Gryffindor'

There was only one whisper i heard which frustrated me and that was when i heard a blonde boy, which i know as Draco Malfoy say "great another mud blood"  I turned my head and gave him the nastiest scowl, which i then received a laugh from one of his friends and the others to have their jaw dropped.

The one laughing stuck out the most. His brown curls beautifully placed on his head as-well as the delicate scar down his eyebrow skipping his eye along his cheek.

I sat on the stool as the hat was placed upon my head.

"hmmm another granger.. i was wondering when i would meet you. Very ambitious, determined for what she wants. In ways the opposite of her sister. Must be a slytherin!"

I looked over at Hermione as her smile faded along with the cheers from the Slytherins.

I ignored her look as i heard a dark haired girl call my name. I looked over to see her sat with the boys i noticed before. She waved me over so i walked over to her. "you can sit with us if you like," she smiled. She seemed kind. "Sure," i smiled back.

She moved over leaving room for me to sit. The curly haired boy sat right across from me. "I'm Pansy," she shook my hand. "Serenity," i said.

"Thats Lorenzo also called Enzo, thats Theodore, thats Blaise and that rude one there is Draco," she gestured to everyone except the one i wanted to know. "got it, and you are?" i said looking directly at the boy in front. "Mattheo," he smirked. "cool." i said sorting my skirt out.

They all looked at me shocked as Mattheo tried reading me. "What?" i questioned. "do you not know who he is," bleached boy asked.
"no..? am i supposed to?" i laughed.
"Mattheo, Mattheo riddle," he clarified. I sat there confused. "The son of the dark lord," he continued.

My heart skipped a beat. "ohhhh," i said finally understanding. "do you not care?" he asked looking into my green eyes. "no, just because he's your father doesn't mean anything. You are your own person after all," i said back. He looked at me and smiled. In a way he looked thankful that i said that.

~

We all began leaving the great hall when she grabbed me by my arm. I turned around about to punch whoever the fuck just grabbed me until i noticed it was my sister. "what mione?" i rolled my eyes.
"I need a word, in private," she stated.

I turned around to the others still waiting for me. "I'll meet you in the common room in a bit," i smiled. They all walked off leaving just me and my sister.

"what?" i asked.
"you shouldn't be hanging out with them," she sighed.
"no offence, but you can't tell me who or what i hang around with," i scoffed. I was pissed off that she said that to me. Who does she think she is? "They aren't good people," she said. "What and you are? you obliviated mum and dads memories of us before even asking me!" i shouted but not loud enough for everyone to hear.

She looked shocked that i said that. "Thats why you've been so distant recently, you think I'm a bad person! I done it to keep them safe!" she yelled back.
"Maybe just maybe, i wanted to say goodbye! Plus you didn't even tell me in person you told me by letter! So don't give me that bullshit!" I argued before i stormed out.

Fucking bitch.
