chapter one

001. head over heels

"you literally cannot be THAT desperate to try for 4 years straight." lorelai said to her sisters as they got onto the train, she was ranting about how she didn't want to be bombareded with love confession from mulciber this year, to which catherine replied

"frank isn't that bad, it's better then james potter being slightly obsessed with you." catherine said looking toward james already following lily evans down the hall of the train, she looked bored & drained.

"slightly is not the word." milan said  looking slightly scared for lily, wondering how she didn't already blow up in potter's face.

the three apricus girls were getting their usual stares as they walked through the train to find a compartment, the stares weren't good nor bad, they were usually full of envy,  people taking in their physical appearance which was breathtaking, and some due to just being feared or disliked.

while walking further to the bath of the train lorelai was bumbed into and practically fell onto her face, a gasp coming from milan's lips before catherine slapped her shoulder, attempting to hold in her laugh.

"fuck." she said as she attempted to stand onto her feet, the boy who knocked her over put his hand out to help her up, she looked at the hand before looking up at his face and seeing no one other than remus lupin.

"im so sorry." he said helping her up, she nodded indicating that it was completely okay.. what she didn't notice was how she was staring at his face for completely to long...

he had freckles, she never noticed that... the scar over his eyebrow.. she never noticed that, his lip—

wait, no, what the hell was she thinking?

she snapped out of her thoughts quickly.

"it's okay, thank you." she said staring at him directly still, he was staring too & milan & catherine noticed it, he let go of her hand, before clearing his throat slightly, looking at the brunette in her eyes.

they were brown, but so bright, they were doe shapped.

he never noticed that.

"i gotta get uhm- back to- yea." he said walking off quickly, she stared at him walking away staring until he was out of view completely.. before looking at her sisters, her face blank.. obviously thinking.

"im not even gonna ask." catherine said shaking her head raising her hand up in disbelief, walking past her sister and into the compartment, making milan snort & follow,

"huh." lorelai said still lost in what just happened, following after her sisters

"since when does remus lupin stutter infront of women?" milan said suprised, it was no secret that the brown haired boy was awfully desired & desirable, and despite being so quiet & smart, he was practically the casanova of gryffindor.

"when the women is a person his bestfriend hates" catherine said as she sat shifted in her seat, opening her book to finish reading during the ride.

"sirius doesn't hate lorie.. he just... dislikes her." milan defended, she and sirius were friends, she truly didn't beileve the boy hated her sister.

"i don't throw death threats at people i dislike." she licked her finger slightly to flip the page., as the two girls bickered on about sirius' and lorelai's dynamic, lorelai was lost in her thoughts, thoughts of remus lupin.

he was a halfblood — she wasn't allowed to feel like this, she couldn't stop thinking about his face, the way he looked at her, the way she could tell he was thinking what she was thinking.

a knock on the window of the door of the compartment woke her from her thoughts, sliding the door open... revealing evan rosier

"i spent so much time looking for you guys." evan exaggerated, running a hand through his blond hair.. looking between the three girls.

"yea? didn't look hard enough huh?" catherine said still flipping through her book, not looking up to face evan, he mushed her head making her slightly laugh, he sat down wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"how was your summer, pretty?" evan said flirting with catherine, making her cringe at the boys words, he always did this to her... this didn't mean anything, evan was gay & catherine was lesbian.

"it was.. alright" she said pausing to think about her summer, before replying.

as the three girls & boy, conversed quietly, on the other side of the train, someone was livid.

"you talked to her?" sirius said to remus, his hand flying up in the air, he was was frustrated for nothing but a 3 second word exchange, james was holding in his laughter as peter rolled his eyes at the grey eyed boy.

"i bumped into her, said sorry, helped her up & then walked away" remus defended himself, he didn't understand the hate between sirius and lorelai.

"you touched her? she probably sucked the happiness out of your soul." the long hair boy exaggerated, remus sighed too say sirius was being annoying was a understatement, remus did nothing but help the girl up.

"mate, calm down.. all he did was help her up." peter said to sirius but he scoffed in response

"she could've gotten up on her own." he replied, james realized he had enough of the childish conversation and decided to speak up.

"well its over & what's done is done, it's not that serious!" james slightly yelled at the boy, making peter snort & the other two boys go quiet.

the compartment went dead silent for awhile, uncomfortably with the way remus & sirius were eyeing eachother, remus wondering if sirius was over it & sirius wondering if remus would apologize or if he should.

"sorry" the two boys said simultaneously, looking at eachother, they nodded slightly, making james smile.
