MY MAFIA MAN

CHAPTER 4

Mum if you would excuse me.  I want to take Natasha around and show her off to my friends and clients, Leonardo says.   

Oh, sure son.   You two can go.     Have fun, she says to us.    

We will, Leonardo says and gently turns me around.   We start moving to more of his friends.      He shows me off to his numerous friends and clients.  Even his family.   

I don't know why he is doing this.    He even looks happy doing it.  He is showing me off to his friends, clients, business partners and family members like am his wife or girlfriend.   

Dude is really weird as fuck.    After introducing me to his family, friends and so on.    We finally settled down to eat and drink.   Finally,  My heels are killing me from moving around so much.   I thought we would never get to sit down.    And did I forget to mention that I am extremely famished?.

Leonardo calls one of the waiters then we order what we want to eat and drink.  The waiter returns after 10 minutes with our food and drinks.  I start eating immediately.  Eating like I have never eaten in all my life.  

Wow, someone is hungry, Leonardo says.    

Of course I am.   We have been walking around this ball for hours.   I am hungry and tired, I say to him with my mouth filled with food.  I don't give a shit.

We suddenly hear gunshots followed by screams.   

What the heck?, I say loudly.     Suddenly a group of hefty men burst into the room with guns in their hands.   

Shit, get under the table Natasha, Leonardo Says to me.    Before I could say a word.   The men in black attire starts shooting at anyone in sight.  I watch in horror as so many people die.   I rush under the table.     All I hear is constant gunshots, painful screams and cries.    

Soon after I stop hearing gunshots.   Should I come out?, I ask myself.   After saying a short prayer.  I summon the courage to come out from under the table.    I gasped.   There are so many dead bodies.    Shit.  All the men that attacked us are dead.    

Who killed them?.   Natasha, I hear Leonardo call me.   I turn around to see him with a gun.     Why the fuck are you with a gun?, I ask already panicking.  

Don't worry Natasha. Everything is alright, he says.

Everything is alright?.  Look at all these dead bodies.    Everything is not alright.   And why haven't you answered my question?    Why are you with a gun?, I ask again.    

Before he could say a word.   Mrs Rosa comes out from nowhere and starts running towards me.   Oh my God.   Natasha, you are safe, she says.    

Yeah, Mrs Rosa, I am safe.  And so are you. I am really glad that you are safe Mrs Rosa, I say.     She nods her head at me and then rushes to her son.

Leonardo, you are alright, hmmm?.  You didn't get hurt right?, she ask checking his body for any injury.   Yes mum. Am fine. I am not hurt. I hope you didn't get hurt mum, he says.    

I didn't get hurt. Thank God for that, she says.    Where are your men, she ask her son.    They are carrying the dead bodies away, he says pointing behind me.   I turn to see some men in black carrying the dead bodies away.   

What is going on?.  First, we get attacked by men in black and with guns.   Second, I see Leonardo with a gun.  And now another group of men in black are carrying dead bodies away. And oh. They are with guns as well.  

Please let it not be what I think it is.   Please, please, please don't be a Mafia, Leonardo.
