We drive back home in silence. I think about Avery. I think about y/n.

𝟔 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨

Chris and y/n liked each other at the time. Chris also had an ex that he may have not fully let go of  at the time, too. Avery was friends with all three triplets and y/n. One day Chris and y/n went to an amusement park together and confessed their feelings. The next week, they had their first kiss in Chris' room. later that day, He invited Avery and kissed her in the same room. The door was cracked and I saw them. Chris confronted me later about it and I told him I would keep a secret because he was my brother But he had to stop seeing her forever and cut her out of his life. he agreed. I didn't tell him this, but I also kept his secret so he didn't hurt y/n.

𝐲/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

1:00 AM

I lie in bed thinking about what Matt said. Who's name is that? What is Chris hiding? I call Nick.  The phone rings twice before he picks up.

"Hey y/n what's up..." he says groggily.

"Ummm I just can't sleep."

"Why not?"  Nick asks.

"It's nothing don't worry." I push it away.

"You called me. Is it about what Matt said in the car?" he questions

"Well yes. Do you know anything about it?" 

"Nope! I'm sure it's nothing y/n just go to sleep bye!" he abruptly hangs up.

7:00 AM

I wake up to my alarm. Shit. I only got like 3 hours of sleep last night. I shift around in my bed to hit snooze. 5 minutes later my alarm goes off again so I get up and get ready for school. I eat breakfast and make black coffee to make up for my lost sleep. as i'm finishing breakfast I hear a honk coming from outside. Funny, I didn't tell Matt to drive me to school today. Whatever. I open the back seat door and sit next to Nick

"Good morning sleepyhead." Nick giggles.

"Shut the fuck up you were awake too!" I shoot back

"Because you woke me up!"

"whatever.." I mumble.

We get to school and the first two classes run smoothly. I walk into math and sit next to Matt. EW. I roll my eyes at him and start my work but find myself drifting off. I'm shaken awake by Matt. 

"Was I sleeping?" I whisper

"Yeah." he answers.

"Shit." I mumble. 

"When did you go to sleep last night?" he continues

"4."

his expression changes to a mix between shock and confusion. 

"Why? I thought you always got good sleep?" Matt questions.

"Why do you care dumbass?"

"Alright, sorry.-"

"Matt. y/n. since you guys love to talk during my lesson, you will be partners for the project." Mr. Breit interrupts.

"What?" We look at each other as the class breaks out in giggles.

"Class dismissed."
