"Punch me in the face right now." I huff, taking a seat beside Donghyuck.

The said boy rolls his eyes at me before passing me one of the class work modules we were meant to work on. "Quit being so dramatic. Shouldn't you be happy? You literally have a boyfriend now."

Isak was sat beside her brother, her eyes narrowed as she tried to read my expression.

"He said he's in love with me." I jut my bottom lip out.

The twins both nod slowly, not entirely sure what I was upset about. "Yeah... aren't you in love with him too?" Isak raises an eyebrow as she speaks.

"Well, yeah... but-"

"That's what couples do, it's not like you guys met last week and still need to take it slow. You've loved each other for years now, even if it didn't necessarily start as a romantic love." Donghyuck cuts me off before I can continue my complaints.

I cross my arms over my chest, sliding further down my chair. "He said it so casually... through text."

Donghyuck scrunched his face up as I add this part.

"Are you sure he even knows he said this? It might have been a slip up." Isak scoffs with a slight laugh. "You do remember that's not the first time he's said it, right? You guys say I love you all the time."

"Ohh..." I frown as I think about it. Maybe she's right. Maybe it just seemed all normal to Jaemin and he doesn't even realize the romantic addition to the claim.

"So you're upset because you can't say it so easily anymore?" Donghyuck's lips curl into a teasing  smile.

I let out an annoyed huff. "You don't understand, 2 days ago I was still trying to figure out who was sending me those messages. Now I'm dating my best friend."

Donghyuck pets the top of my head lightly. "I know... we can't say much since we're both unfortunately still single."

Isak's expression flatters slightly at Donghyuck's words, she turns her head ever so slightly towards her brother. "Hyuck..."

Donghyuck hums, facing her.

"I... uhh..." She starts, fidgeting with her fingers nervously. "I've actually got a girlfriend..." Her words were quiet.

Donghyuck stays quiet, his facial expressions not changing from before. After a moment he turns to face me and I stay silent as I wait for his reaction. He lets a little chuckle, lowering his gaze to his lap. "Did you ask Yizhou out or did she ask you out?"

Isak chokes on her own saliva, lifting her arm to hide her face as she calms herself back down. "What the hell?" She huffs.

Donghyuck shrugs. "What? You really think I didn't notice the heart eyes you've been giving her for months? We shared a womb, remember? It's hard to keep secrets from someone you share a wavelength with."

"You ass." Isak shoves him playfully. "I asked her out." she mumbled the last part.

"And you told this idiot before me?" Donghyuck points a finger at me and I can't help but raise my hands in offense.

"This is not my fault, do not call me an idiot." I say in a defensive tone.

Donghyuck snorts. "You're not an idiot for knowing, you're an idiot for freaking out over the guy you've been best friends with for years saying I love you."
