The bell rang
As class dismissed and every person dispersed out of the classroom only to fill the silence with chatter and constant movement on the floor. A young man had stayed separate from the crowd in the halls and hid himself in his black hoodie, he was basically nobody; Feeble, weak, and uninteresting.. His name was Austin.

After leaving the halls to the corridor; he was at the crowded cafeteria, the place was quite full of students waiting in line for lunch however Austin didn't came here for that as he sat at an unoccupied bench by himself in a shallow corner.

All he did was play on his cracked phone that was tuck inside his knapsack as he played. He never had many friends, he looked mostly introverted and people who pass by take glances or never recognize him - like him in general.

As time was about to pass, footsteps were walking ominously towards Austin's direction. He was unaware. All Austin heard was digital sound effects of shooting within the game then a quick pat on the shoulder made Austin set the game on menu to turn around to face some one... To his surprise...

It was Chole, he was quite athletic looking unlike Austin. Chole looked jacked from chest to toe and equally handsome and young in his stylish blue letter jacket, his hazel eyes could make a girl faint - his wavey dyed burgundy hair was messy yet it still never damaged his appearance, he's always perfect.. Austin always envies him.. Chole compared to Austin, Austin could possibly stand a chance.

Chole: He smirked, "Hey there, buddy." His voice was quite husky, exaggerating the slyness of his tone. "What are you doing?" He sat beside Austin with his back facing and slumped over.

Austin stayed silent, seemingly he didn't want to start a conversation. Chole is his initial bully, Chole is a popular guy for his looks, his love for biking and nobody sees him in the wrong because of his charms. That's the frustrating part for Austin.

Chole: He chuckled and leaned back, "Come on... Don't leave me hanging in the conversation~" He wrapped around his arm on Austin's shoulder and neck casually shaking him in a playful rhythm.

Austin pulled away, scooted from Chole and made no eye contact, he manifest the feeling of uncomfortable.

Chole: He didn't like that as his smile dropped, he stood up and walked patiently to Austin like a cat playing with his prey. "Austin... Buddy.. I'm just being nice for once." His voice didn't sound sincere.

Austin: He rolled eyes before taking a brief look at Chole, "Your voice doesn't sound too earnest.." Austin muttered loudly for Chole to hear.

Chole flashes a smirk prior to rising his hand like he got caught, he moved around a bit as he set his hands in his jeans pocket before making eye contact.

Austin: He sighed heavily as possible, "Look Chole, I.. I don't know why you do this to me, but it needs to really stop." He faced Chole, "You're not getting enjoyment over this." He slightly raised his voice.

Chole: gave an eye roll before responding so harshly, "Oh yeah? What? Wanna cry about it?" He walked towards Austin and looked down upon him like an ant, "You won't be getting a happy ending like in those stories." He muttered in his ear coldly.

Austin winced in the inside and got up abruptly taking his knapsack with him on his shoulder, he packed his phone in his pocket however Chole snatched it swiftly and Austin was speechless. Chole teased him further by wiggle it in front of him.

Austin: He was visibly upset, "Give it back!" He yelled softly then tried reaching for it.

Chole was quite taller, raising his arm up making Austin jump for it like a toddler.

Austin: His voice became shaky, "T-this is funny!" He stood back after giving up.

Chole: He gave a sadistic laugh, "Haha! Nah, it is..." He imaginarily wipe his tears, "I'll give it back on one condition." He left no room for arguments.

Austin had to listen.

Chole: He cleared his throat, "Ahem, I will give you a HUNDRED dollar if you do bike racing with me." He responded so casually, he waited for a response from Austin.

Austin was confused.

Chole: He huff, "Dude, are you deaf? A HUNDRED." He wiggled Austin's phone to snap him out of his state, "Hello? What? Not enough?" His voice irritated and asked persistently.

Austin: He was rather speechless, "A hundred dollar? To bike race with you?" He scoffed, "You're officially something else.."

Chole: He lightly chuckled, "Or do you officially want this phone gone?"

Austin shook his head immediately, his face was desperate.

Chole: His brow perked up, "Is this crappy phone important to you? I guess I'll be careful then." He tucked Austin's phone in his pocket.

Austin cursed himself at this moment, he had nothing to say against Chole and had to be the good boy.

Chole: "Seven months, and until that time runs out and you did nothing for some unknown reason then I'll tell everyone your dirty little secret~ Aussie." He grinned.

He was playing his cards too well, Austin was stuck in a sticky situation yet he wondered why would Chole bet him for something like bike racing? Possibly because he knew Austin sucked at doing it.

Chole: He faced his back against Austin before taking his last glance, "I'll be waiting, seven months is a lot so be grateful that I'm very generous today." He departed.

The Bell rang
School was over and Austin didn't know what to say or even think, how will his parents feel that some bully took his phone for a bet on bike racing?

At the school front yard he waited for his mother to pick him up, while most of the students took buses or got a ride from a friend, in the meantime he thought to himself- "Am I really up for this game of his?"
