In the night, Austin had been thinking about the bet with Chole, laying in bed anxiously curled up like a baby. He hadn't been sleeping for an hour past his bedtime.

Austin: He groans and covers his face with his fluffy pillow, "Man... I can't do it!" He mumbled.

He steadily got up from the bed and grabbed his phone beside him and started watching videos on 'How to ride a bike' tutorials. Every video he watched slowly made no sense on what to do.. He struggled to build motivation as he laid on the bed defeated...

Austin: He groaned against his pillow, "Worse day of my life... I can't even know how to ride a bike..."

By the time he was about to fall asleep.

Knock Knock
he got up frightened and headed to the window that made a sudden sound. He took a peek as the dark figure on the other side scared Austin to the point he let out a high pitch yelp, his behind landed on the floor and before he thought he was being robbed...

Maria opened the window and jumped inside as the cold breeze flow inside Austin's room. Maria was Austin's little crazy brown haired neighbor from the other side of the neighborhood, looked mostly like a toddler. Austin and Maria known each other for a while.

Austin: He clenched his hand on his chest with his breath rising heavily, "What the hell are you doing in the night so early?!" He quietly yelled, "Your lucky my parents are heavy sleepers!" He exclaimed.

Maria: She rolled her eyes in a joking manner, "Jeez I bet you can't survive a second in a horror movie..." She teased as she leaned over to poke Austin's nose.

Austin reasonably moves his head away with a disgusted look as if he wonders where her finger had been.

Maria: She sighed, "My hands are clean..." She slumps up away from Austin.

Maria assisted Austin on his feet. They both sat by his bed, she seemed a bit mischievous as she kicked her legs back and forth like a hyperactive kid.

Austin: He was curious about something particular, "Why did you sneak out?" He asked.

Maria: She plop herself on the bed, "Well, I'm bored." She said tiredly.

Austin looked absolutely baffled.

Maria: She made eye contact with Austin, "What?" She lazily fling her arms up, she didn't like how Austin was looking at her like some crazy person. "I'm bored! Literally! Our Internet at home gone offline a while ago so I came here to bother you." She smiled awkwardly and cutely blinks her eyes as if her actions were reasonable.

Austin: He let out a deep sigh, "You're something else, but..." He trailed off abruptly.

Maria: She got up and stared at Austin, she was sorta interested on what was Austin gonna say. "But what?"

Austin: "Don't tell anyone... Wait, what am I saying? That jerk probably told everyone about the bet..." He muttered.

Maria: Her brows furrowed slightly, "That jerk? That boy named Chole? Did that bastard bully you again?" She responded with a little fury.

Austin: He looked at her then shook his head warily, "No no, he uh..."

Maria leaned in for his answer.

Austin: He cleared his throat, "He made a bet with me." He sheepishly grinned, trying to play off it isn't THAT bad in his head.

Maria: She gasped, "WHAT? What bet? What did he do? Did he threaten you to do something?" The more she asked, the more she got upset. "That... piece of fine garbage done it this time" She imaginarily began throwing fist in the air.

Austin: He chuckled lightly then calmly said, "Well, he made a bet on bike racing..." He scratched the back of his hair waiting for Maria's thoughts.

Maria: She stopped for a moment then stared at Austin with her face up and close to Austin as if he trippin, "Bike what now?"

Austin: He groaned miserably, "Yep, you heard me. Bike racing!" He said dryly before backing his head away.

Maria: She stared at Austin blankly before saying, "Huh?!" She stammered a little, "For what?" Curiosity speaks her interest.

Austin explained what happened yesterday in details, Maria was rather silent and pondered about the information Austin told.

Maria: "You might as well say goodbye to that fifth century phone!" She causally joked, "I'm joking, but in all seriousness.. Have you ever used a bike or motorcycle?"

Austin shook his head with such defeat.

Maria: She got off the bed and stands in front of Austin, she thought momentarily until something crossed her mind. "What if.. I teach you?" Then she changed her mind flinging her hands expressing nevermind, "Wait no, I meant what if I motivate you instead?" She insisted.

Austin: His facial looked deadpan by that idea, "You got me on the first half then the second half, you just disappoint me..."

Maria: She was offended, "Hey! I'm tryna help!" She pouted before calming herself down, "But hey, this bet you're having could be a life changer for you."

Austin: His brow perked up, "Well, I don't wanna change." He extorted.

Maria: She scoffs, "Well, you want Chole to tell everyone your secret until the expiry date ends?"

Austin stood quietly and thought about it carefully..

Maria: She steps a bit closer and pat on Austin's back, "Austin, why risk it?" She asked in a solemn tone.

Austin: He let out a sigh, "I'll think about it." He drop himself onto the bed with a exhausted expression.

Maria: She shrugged, "Well, I'll be off. Tell me about it when you're ready." She replied back before heading to the slightly opened window.

Before Maria was about to leave, Austin had something in mind.

Austin: "Did you tell your parents that you were visiting me?" He asked curiously.

Maria: She turned around with a guilty look on her face, "Uhm.."
