Y/n pov.
Tree was sitting on a bench In the great, known, Goiky land. He didn't seem to have..uh- much on mind. His eyes were also apparently narrowed of boredom. Seems like he's stressed...
I sat down next to him and tapped his shoulder, to get his attention.
Tree snapped out of his boredom, as he looked down to see me.
"Oh, hey there..."
Was his tired response.
"A-Are you ok?"
I ask.
He took a moment to respond, as he shook his head slowly.
"No, not really..."
He replied in-a quiet tone.
"Oh..."
I say.
He just sighed, feeling more exhausted mentally and physically, as he slowly laid his head on my shoulder.
I pat his head, his soft leaves in between my fingers.
"do you... wanna talk about it?"
I ask.
Tree silently nodded his head, as he closed his eyes.
"Just a-just a lot of stress on my mind and a lot on my plate... so so much on my mind and so much that needs to be done but-..."
He stuttered a bit, his sentences not being put together all the way. Seems like he's not the best mentally.
Then, he slowly raised his head off my shoulder and just stared at the ground below us.
"I just don't know what to do anymore..."
He said in a quiet tone.
He slowly let out a sigh, as he slowly closed his eyes and put his face into the palms of his hands.
"Everything's just been too much for me these last couple of days... I don't know if it's just me or it's something else entirely..."
He said, sadly.
He stayed quiet for a moment, before speaking again.
"I- I just feel so mentally and physically tired... I can't even think straight without some headache or something..."
He said, still sad.
He just let out a sigh again, keeping his face concealed in his hands as he just, sat there. It seems like he's not been doing good mentally lately...
I have some sympathy for you as i get closer to him.
"Tree, don't be sad, you know i hate it when you are..."
I say.
Tree slowly removed his face from his hands, as he looked up at you with those tired eyes he had earlier.
"I- I know I shouldn't be sad... it's just hard for me to not be I when you have so many damn problems to deal with..."
He mumbled.
"I... have the same thing..."
I say, a slight frown appering on my face.
He raised a brow, looking surprised for a moment as he looked at me. It seems he was surprised that I can relate to his tiredness in a way.
"You... do?"
He asked me.
"My mom does drugs, my dad has anger issues and loves getting drunk, my friends left me, school is hard... Everything just... goes down for me..."
I say, now feeling sad the the tree who was sitting next to me.
Tree's brow furrowed, feeling a bit of empathy for you, as a frown began to form on his face at hearing that. His eyes softened a bit, looking at you with a quiet look of concern.
"You... Your parents... Your toxic friends... I... am so sorry..."
He said, quietly.
"Thanks..."
I say.
Tree just looked shocked and disappointed at the fact that my friends and family would do such a thing, as he continued to stay quiet for a moment, seeming to think for a moment, before he spoke quietly again.*
"I.... can't believe that they would do that... that's- that's messed up..."
He said in a quiet tone.
"I know right! wish I had a normal child hood, but its no big deal!!"
I say.
Tree looked more confused now, as he thought about that statement for a second. He thought I were wrong- He knew that my family and my friends was wrong, it WAS a big deal, it IS a big deal. But.. he can't just believe that my friends and family was this horrible...
"Why do you think that its no big deal?"
He questioned. He had a lot of questions.
"..."
I stayed silent.
Tree raised a brow, as he watched me, noticing me going quiet. My silence was making him concerned. Was he pushing the question too much? Or is it just something personal?
He fidgeted around a bit awkwardly, before speaking.
"You- don..don't have to answer the questions if you don't want to. I can tell it's something personal.."
He said calmly.
Tree looked at me with a sympathetic look, as he gently put a hand on my shoulder.
"Just... don't worry about responding to those questions, okay? If it's something personal or something you don't want to share, then I won't bother you with it anymore.."
He said.
"T-Thanks.. i wish i wasn't abused all the time..."
I said, not knowing what i just said.
Tree's eyes widened, as he heard that I was abused. He didn't expect it to be the way it was- in fact his mind was screaming that this was a prank. This had to be.. he just can't believe that I was abused. He didn't know what to say. After I've said that, he thought... it didn't make any sense.
"Y-You were... abused?"
Tree asked.
Then, I froze.
"W-Wait!!"
I said.
*20 minutes later of explaining*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So... lets forget about that..."
I said.
"Yeah... but, wanna play a game? To get things off of your mind?"
He asked, and i obviously agreed.
"TAG!!"
I yelled then, I zoomed off.
"Hey! Wait! Come back here!"
Tree yelled playfully as he chased me.
I didn't see this huge rock, then...
THUD
CRASH
CRACKK
THEN EVERYTHING WENT BLACK...
