Hey guys! So I've noticed that I've lost a lot of readers since that long break I've had :( Thanks a lot for staying and reading this far lol. So I'm running out of ideas for this story...I'm trying to think though and I apologize in advance if it takes a while to update. Anyways tell me what you think of it so far :) Thanks again for the reads and votes!!

I woke up and I was still in Heaven. I really wish I didn't have to get out of bed but hopefully I'll be able to quit school today. Of course Louis was gonna help me. Our school district doesn't let you do something like this without permission. But I'm not going until class starts. No way am I going to take the chances of running into Salma today, even if I really want to rub in her face that I actually am with the Louis Tomlinson. I just don't want to risk Louis' 'Secret cover'.

So Louis and I got out of bed and ready by about 9:30. First period is still going so we decided to go now before it ends and I officially get marked absence. We pulled into the parking lot full of cars (DUH what is a parking lot for?) but the good thing about it is that there's no one out there. I hesitate a little before getting out of the car. I walk in the building smiling knowing that this is probably the last time I'm coming here. I'm not going to miss it here. The obnoxious teachers, the boring lessons, the snobby people. The only thing I'll miss is seeing Des in the hallways between every class....OH MY GOD!! DES!! I completely forgot to tell her about this! Now I feel bad, but that's not making me back out. Uh-uh. I'm just going to have to beat her to her house before school's ever almost everyday and hang out. It's worth it.  Walking down the hallway the smell of sweaty students and anxious teachers fill the atmosphere. It's not even halfway through the day and it already reeks.

We walk into the office and I see the secretary of the school at the desk. I let Louis talk to her about seeing the principal while I lag back and think. I'm not really nervous for this. I've known the principal for almost my whole life now so it's not like talking to your creepy counselor about your personal problems. The secretary leads us to the Principal's office (Mrs. Hamilton) while I take a moment and embrace the place. I walked into Mrs. Hamilton's office with Louis right behind me. "Hey Lexi! It's always a pleasure to see you. And whose this young handsome man we have here with you?" She asked peppy lol. "He's a friend of mine. He doesn't go to school anymore he's here with me because we need to talk about some things with you." I said not a stutter in those two sentences.

"Well sit down! Talk! Speaking of which, how come you weren't in first period today?" She has aaa lllooottt of questions for me...

"Uhm...You see, that's what we wanted to talk to you about..Louis you tell her." I said starting to get a little nervous

"Oh erm..ok. So Lexi has been kind of, well she's not doing so good in school. Not meaning the education part but the socializing part. It's killing her. She came home crying halfway through the day and that's when she decided that she wanted to drop out of school." He said slowly. Kinda too slow.

"Oh really, Are you sure you want to do that?" I nodded "Ok...well hold on and let me get these papers and I'll just need someone to sign them." She searched through her somewhat messy drawers. I don't know how she can live with that. If it was mine it would be ordered all the way through. After a while of searching, she got the papers she was looking for. "Ok Lexi, I'll just need you to get someone to sign these then I'll run them by the district and you'll be free from school." She said

I gave Louis the papers and he was about to sign them until Mrs. Hamilton stopped him. "I'm sorry but it can't be just anyone. your legal guardian has to be the one to sign and according to your records that would be your dad." oh wow...great. How's that gonna work?

"Oh uhm yea that won't be possible. I'm sorry for wasting your time. We'll just be going now." I said quietly. It was quiet for a while. The walk to the car. The drive home. The guys were all in the living room watching T.V. but me and Louis just went straight to my room. Haven't said a single word to each other. Until Louis spoke up " Babe, I'm really sorry. I don't want you to go back to that school."

"It's ok Louis. I just wish my dad wasn't gone. Then again, he wouldn't sign them anyways. He doesn't care about me and would rather have me go to school so he doesn't have to put up with me as much. I guess there's no way of escaping it." I said while looking down at my lap.

Liam walked in right after I said that and he could already tell something was wrong. "Alright, you two aren't happy. What happened at the school?" He asked sternly

"She can't quit school. Not without her dad's approval which won't happen because apparently he doesn't care about her." Lou said while caressing me in his lap. Liam walked over and started rubbing my back. Trying to make me feel better but honestly I just wanted to cry.

" So you said she cant unless her dad approves of it? Because he's her legal guardian? Hhhmm......well I have an idea, but it's a long shot.." Liam said looking at Lou

You could tell Louis knew what he was talking about but I had absolutely no idea so I just gave them a weird look. "Can someone please explain to me?"

"Well you see, you said yourself that your dad doesn't care about you. And what kind of legal guardian is that? So, if we're by any chance lucky we just might have someone who could be your new legal guardian. It will take a lot of convincing but it might work. You'll love him trust me." Liam said to me "He goes by Uncle Simon."
