Weeks had flown by in a blur of painting, studying, and accidental run-ins with Akaashi. Y/N had started to enjoy her daily walks with him, her shyness gradually turning into comfortable conversations. They exchanged texts regularly, making her look forward to their interactions even more. And yes, Y/N's secret crush on Akaashi had grown, though she kept it to herself—much to Yuki's amusement.

One particular day, the art teacher announced an exciting project. The art club would be venturing around the school compound to draw something related to nature. The news was met with enthusiastic cheers, especially from the members who usually had to stay cooped up in the art room.

Y/N, as always, was deeply focused on her work. She decided to sketch a particularly beautiful blue flower she had spotted around the school's lush green spaces. Unbeknownst to her, the volleyball team, led by none other than Akaashi, had just finished their practice and were taking a break.

As Y/N sat, absorbed in capturing the delicate petals of the flower, Akaashi and his teammates noticed her from inside the gym. Bokuto, being his usual energetic self, pointed her out with a dramatic flourish.

"Hey, look! Isn't that Y/N?" Bokuto exclaimed, his voice carrying across the gym.

Konoha, ever the skeptic, squinted at the scene. "She's really focused. What's she drawing?"

The team, intrigued by the sudden artistic display, started to sneak closer to get a better look. Akaashi, ever curious and impressed, led the way with a calm but intrigued demeanor.

Meanwhile, Y/N was completely oblivious to the small audience gathering behind her. She was lost in her artwork, occasionally glancing up at the flower to ensure she got the details right.

Suddenly, she heard whispers behind her. Her heart skipped a beat. She turned around, and her eyes widened as she saw Akaashi and the entire volleyball team peering over her shoulder.

"Ah!" Y/N squeaked, nearly dropping her pencil. Her cheeks flushed a bright shade of red. "A-Akaashi-san! Bokuto-san! What are you all doing here?"

Akaashi, trying to look as composed as ever despite the teasing glances from his teammates, gave her a reassuring smile. "We were just taking a break and noticed your drawing. It's really impressive."

Y/N's blush deepened, and she looked down at her drawing, feeling self-conscious. "I-It's just a blue flower... nothing special."

"Nothing special? That's a masterpiece!" Bokuto chimed in enthusiastically. "It's like a flower's been captured by a magical artist!"

Konoha nudged Akaashi playfully. "Looks like you have some serious competition, Akaashi."

Y/N's eyes darted between Akaashi and his teasing teammates. "You guys really don't have to—"

Before she could finish, the art teacher called everyone to gather for a quick discussion about their sketches.

"Oh, looks like we're being called," Y/N said, hurriedly packing up her things. "I should get going."

Akaashi stepped forward, looking a bit serious but with a gentle smile. "I'll be waiting for you at the school gate later, to walk home together. Don't forget."

Y/N's face turned a shade of pink that rivaled the color of her drawing's flower. "O-Okay. I'll see you there."

As Y/N quickly excused herself from the scene, the volleyball team erupted into laughter and teasing.

"Look at Akaashi's face!" Bokuto said, doubling over with laughter. "He's totally smitten."

Konoha smirked. "Yeah, didn't think Akaashi would have a fan club so soon."

Akaashi, though slightly embarrassed, took their teasing in stride. "Alright, alright, enough. Let's just get back to practice."

At the end of the day, Y/N made her way to the school gate, her nerves a jumbled mess of excitement and anxiety. She kept replaying the day's events in her head, especially Akaashi's words. Did he really mean he wanted to walk home with me?

As she approached the gate, she saw Akaashi waiting for her, looking as calm and composed as ever. Y/N's heart did a little happy dance at the sight.

"Hi, Akaashi-san," she greeted, trying to sound casual despite her flushed cheeks.

"Hi, Y/N-san," Akaashi said, falling into step beside her. "Ready to head home?"

"Y-Yeah," Y/N said, nodding vigorously. They started walking, the silence between them surprisingly comfortable.

As they walked, Y/N couldn't help but steal glances at Akaashi. He really is just as nice as he seems, she thought, smiling to herself.

"So," Akaashi said, breaking the silence, "how did the rest of your day go?"

Y/N felt a surge of relief at the question. "It went well. I finished my drawing and got to show it to you guys. That was unexpected."

Akaashi chuckled softly. "Well, we were all impressed. You have a real talent."

Y/N's heart fluttered at the compliment. "Thank you. I still have a lot to learn."

Akaashi smiled, and the two continued their walk, chatting about school, art, and everything in between. It was the kind of conversation that made Y/N feel like she could talk to Akaashi forever.

As they reached her home, Y/N hesitated for a moment before turning to Akaashi. "Thanks for walking me home. It means a lot."

Akaashi's smile widened. "Anytime, Y/N. I'll see you tomorrow."

Y/N waved goodbye and went inside, her heart still racing from their time together. She flopped onto her bed, replaying the day's events with a grin on her face.

Meanwhile, as Akaashi walked away, his teammates were waiting for him with knowing grins.

"How'd it go?" Bokuto asked eagerly.

Akaashi simply shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "It went well."

"Looks like someone's got a serious crush," Konoha teased.

Akaashi, trying to hide his own grin, just shrugged. "Maybe."

Back at home, Y/N grabbed her phone and dialed Yuki's number, eager to share her day.

"Yuki! You'll never believe what happened!" Y/N started excitedly as soon as Yuki answered.

From the other end, Yuki's voice was filled with amusement. "Do tell! I'm all ears!"

As Y/N recounted the day's events, her heart fluttered with happiness. This is just the beginning, she thought with a smile. And I can't wait to see what happens next.
