Mikha's POV
I'm panicking! I have no idea what to wear!
I've been pacing around my room for what feels like forever. Aiah messaged me saying magkita raw kami sa isang restaurant to talk about what had happened to us. It's crazy that she's still wanting to talk to me after all those layers of tears, pero I know naman she misses me a lot.
Who wouldn't miss a Mikha Lim?
As I rushed to the bathroom door, I almost forgot replying to her.
Do I look like a fool for wearing a sleeveless top? Or should I chance into something more comfy just in case she may want to go home with me?
Gosh, Mikha, what are you saying?
Oh wait, mag-jacket na lang ako. In case she makes kalmot, at least I'm protected.
As I stepped inside the mall, I was greeted by a frowning lady.
"Bakit ka naka-jacket?" Aiah asked, eyeing me from head to toe with a hint of doubt.
"I just feel like wearing it. Bakit, bawal ba?" I replied, raising my brow.
"Ewan ko sayo," Aiah said. "Halika na!"
I quietly followed her, unsure where she was leading me and, a few minutes more, I was greeted by a Jollibee standee waving its hand at me.
I waved back.
Just as I was about to sit down, Aiah tapped me on the shoulder. "Samahan mo akong mag-order doon," she said, almost like a command.
Gosh, woman. Hindi kaya mag-order on her own? Paano na lang kapag wala na ako, ha?
"Hi, Ma'am! Welcome to Jollibee!" The cashier greeted us.
"Hi, Miss. Isang double cheesy yumburger, isang chicken with rice, isang spaghetti, isang peach mango pie, at isang large fries po," Avery said, listing her order.
Sa kanya lang lahat 'yun?
I glanced at the cashier and said, "Ako rin ganon."
The lady at the cashier gave a nod and a smile before handing us our receipt and told the food will be served at our table.
