Episode 14...
It was a calm afternoon at Ajay's house, with sunlight streaming softly through the windows. Shreya sat on the couch, her mind swirling with thoughts about Ajay and the past that still haunted him. She knew that something had to change, that Ajay needed closure. But how could she help him move on when the memories of Abi still lingered in his heart?
Sitting across from her was Keerthana, Naren's wife, who had always been more of a sister to Shreya. They had been close long before their respective marriages, and their bond had only deepened with time. Keerthana, with her wisdom and support, had become a confidante to Shreya in navigating her relationship with Ajay.
Keerthana could sense Shreya's turmoil. 'Shreya, maybe finding Abi could help Ajay finally let go. Have you thought about that?' Keerthana asked
Shreya sighed, her brows furrowing slightly. 'Ama ka nanum adha pathi dhan yosichen. But avangala epdi naa kandu pudikiradhu? Ajay never really talks about her in detail, and na avaru kita poi direct ah vum keka mudiyadhu. It's a delicate situation.' Shreya said
Keerthana leaned back, thinking. 'Wait, didn't Naren mention once that Abi had a best friend named Madhu? Maybe avanga kita pesi pakalam la. Endra purushan ta ketu soldren.' Keerthana said
Shreya's eyes lit up. 'Seringa ammini!' Shreya said, as they laughed together
---
A few days later, Keerthana arrived with good news. She had spoken to Naren, and he had managed to get Madhu's contact information. Keerthana handed Shreya the number with a reassuring smile.
Shreya hesitated for a moment, feeling a mixture of nervousness and hope. She didn't want to stir up the past unnecessarily, but she also knew that this might be the only way to help Ajay move forward. With a deep breath, she dialed Madhu's number.
The phone rang a few times before a cheerful voice answered.
Madhu: *"Hello, this is Madhumita speaking."*
Shreya cleared her throat and kept her tone casual. *"Hi Madhumita, this is Dr. Shreya. I'm reaching out because I've been following Dr. Abinaya's work closely, and I was hoping to connect with her for a potential collaboration."*
Madhu, unaware of Shreya's real intentions, responded enthusiastically. *"Oh, Abi would love that! She's been in Switzerland for a while now. I'll send you her email address. She usually responds quickly to professional inquiries."*
Shreya's heart skipped a beat. Switzerland. That was where Abi had gone after everything. She had finally found her...
Shreya felt a surge of relief and thanked Madhu. Within minutes, a text came through with Abi's email ID.
As Shreya opened the message, her eyes landed on the email address. There it was: *Dr. Abinaya Vijay*.
Her heart skipped a beat as she realized what that meant. Abi had moved on, and she was now married. Shreya stared at the screen for a few moments, her mind trying to process the information. She had known this was a possibility, but seeing it confirmed was still a shock.
Keerthana, sitting beside her, glanced over at the screen. 'She's married...' she said softly, echoing Shreya's thoughts.
Shreya nodded slowly. 'Ama, she's married. Dr. Abinaya Vijay.'
Keerthana squeezed Shreya's hand gently. 'Well, adhuvum nalladhuku dhan la? If she's moved on, maybe Ajay can too. You're doing the right thing by reaching out.' Keerthana said
Shreya took a deep breath, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. This meeting could be the key to helping Ajay finally find peace with his past.
---
That evening, Shreya sat at her desk, her laptop open in front of her. She stared at the blank email draft, carefully considering her words. She wanted to keep the message strictly professional, without revealing anything about her connection to Ajay.

Subject: Potential Collaboration Opportunity
Dear Dr. Abinaya Vijay,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Dr. Shreya Devaraj, and I've recently come across your impressive work in the medical field. I'm truly inspired by your research and would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss potential collaboration.
I will be visiting Switzerland soon for an official event and was hoping we could arrange a meeting during my stay. Please let me know if you would be available, and we can coordinate the details.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Dr. Shreya Devaraj

Shreya read through the email several times before finally hitting *Send*. She knew this was the right step, but that didn't make it any less nerve-wracking. She had no idea how this meeting would unfold or what it would mean for Ajay and their relationship.
Later that evening, as Shreya sat with Keerthana, her phone buzzed. It was a response from Abi.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I'm delighted to hear about your interest in my work and would be happy to meet with you during your visit to Switzerland. Please feel free to share the details of your trip, and I will make arrangements to meet you.
Best regards,
Dr. Abinaya Vijay

Shreya breathed a sigh of relief. Abi had responded positively, and the meeting was set in motion. But before she could even process the next steps, her phone rang again. This time, it was Abi herself, calling directly.
Shreya's heart raced as she answered the call.
Abi: *"Hi Dr. Shreya! I just wanted to touch base with you personally. It's always nice to connect over the phone before we meet in person. How are you planning your trip to Switzerland?"*
Abi's voice was warm and friendly, completely unaware of the personal connection between them. Shreya, keeping her tone professional, replied calmly.
Shreya: *"Oh, thank you for reaching out, Dr. Abinaya. I'm planning to be in Switzerland next week for a conference. I was hoping we could meet at your locality if that's convenient for you."*
Abi was more than accommodating, offering to show Shreya around the hospital and even suggesting a few places nearby where they could grab a coffee and chat.
After a brief discussion of the logistics, the call ended on a positive note. Shreya put her phone down, feeling the weight of what was about to unfold. She was about to meet the woman who had shaped so much of Ajay's past, and yet Abi had no idea who Shreya really was.
Keerthana, who had been quietly observing from the corner of the room, approached Shreya with a soft smile.
'Semma, Shreya. Now the real journey begins.' Keerthana Said
Shreya nodded, her heart full of anticipation and uncertainty. She didn't know how this meeting would play out, but she knew one thing for sure-this was the step Ajay needed to finally close that chapter of his life. She was doing this for him, for their future, and for the peace they both desperately sought.
