"What... the fuck...?"
That was Gojo's response after Svarog told them everything they had wanted to hear after so long.
"They were looking to destroy the Stelleron, huh...?" Stelle commented.
"And of course, it never succeeded," Dan Heng added.
"Why...? Mother... she..." Bronya stuttered. Geto patted her back for support.
"M-Maybe she wasn't aware!" Bronya said, trying to defend still her mother, who just proved to be a bit of a scumbag... with a Stellaron inside her.
"No more excuses Bronya," Gojo said, "Right now, you need to make a decision."
The crew turned to Bronya, and Natasha spoke to Gojo.
"Can I have a word with you?" she asked. Gojo nodded, and they stood off to the side.
"I know that we need time to process... well, everything, but we need to decide our next step as soon as possible."
Gojo thought about it.
"Well, obviously, the Furnace Core is our next step," Gojo told her.
"The Furnace Core... The path to the surface is at close hand..." Natasha said.
"Indeed it is," Geto said, beside Gojo.
"We thank you, Satoru. What you've done has brought hope for the Underworld," Natasha said. Gojo rubbed his temple.
"Aw shucks, you're making me blush," Gojo said, smiling.
"Now, we just play the waiting game," Geto said, "Maybe this will lead to a new lease on life."
"And in any case, we support you coming, regardless of we were in battle or not," Geto said.
"Well, as Wildfire's former leader, I couldn't simply look on while Gojo fought on our behalf," Natasha explained. Geto smiled at that.
"You've made an influence after all," Geto said to Gojo.
'But there's still a catch," Gojo said, which made Geto raise an eyebrow.
"Even thought Svarog is no longer sealing off the Furnace Core, we can't simply pour out onto the surface," Gojo explained.
"Cocolia used lies and tricks to separate the surface from the underground, so if we all come out at once, she will deal with us promptly."
