Chapter 39: Ice-Make Duo Resolve! Blazing Tag Teamwork!

Last time on Third Sparda of Fairy Tail...

Just thought it was another normal day here in Fairy Tail. Y/n received four orbs inside the box from a certain person that Y/n knew, it's for his Lucario, Latias, and Latios. As they got done with their relaxation, they heard some rumor that Natsu and Gray are working together on a job. To their amused reaction, it didn't work it out for both of them. Makarov has received an emergency job request for Natsu and Gray, and their client's name, Warrod Sequen, one of the Four Emperors of Ishgar. Furthermore, Warrod also requested to meet Y/n in person. Y/n and Team Natsu were assigned to investigate and save the Sun Village. As they looked around to find a way, they unexpectedly met the Sylph Labyrinth, the treasure hunters, and the Succubus Eye, the dark guild. Unaware of them, Kuroka and Ur arrive at the scene, and they go separate ways. Erza and Y/n have encountered Minerva, a recent member of Succubus Eye, and beast-like creature Null. Minerva has the remote control connected to that silver ring choker on Null's neck, Erza and Y/n have managed to destroy the contraptions and Minerva fled the village in defeat. They noticed the tower-like ice had been shattered into pieces and went to investigate the cause. What happened over there? Let's find out...

After Team Natsu have left the guild hall to see their client, Warrod Sequen resides in his home, along with Y/n coming along, as requested, Ur can't help but feeling a bit nervous and tense, without telling anyone, also worried about Gray, her student's safety. Kuroka immediately noticed her behavior, went up to her and placed her hand on Ur's shoulder. Ur have snapped her trance and looked at her trusted friend.

Kuroka: Is something bothering ya? It's Y/n, isn't it?

Ur: Well... it besides that, you and the others know Y/n will always be there for us. But... it's-

Kuroka slowly realized who she was referring to.

Kuroka: Oh it's Gray, right.

Ur: Yeah... Somehow... (place where her heart is) I feel it. Something triggered his unforgettable past that lingered him.

Kuroka recalled when Ur explained to her, Y/n, Asia, Rossweisse and Chisato before they came to Earthland. Ur is referring to how Deliora destroyed Gray's home, his parents, Ur went to fight against that demon, used a forbidden ice magic, Iced Shell, which ultimately cost her entire life. That all happened a long time ago.

Kuroka: I see... I didn't want to bring that up cause you'll be uncomfortable, ya know?

Ur: It's alright. I know you want to cheer me up, I appreciate that. You know, we're like the opposite of Natsu and Gray.

Kuroka: (giggles) Yeah you're right. Like Darling would say, we're one hell of a pair.

Ur: (smile) Yeah. We make a great team, better than those two knuckleheads.

Kuroka and Ur laughed together at the moment and looked through the window to see the sky.

Kuroka: (smirk) So what do you say we crash at the party, hmm?

Ur: When it's with you and Y/n, I'm down. So how do we get to them?

Kuroka: I can sense and locate Darling's energy to take us there. (smirk) All thanks to Darling's stamina pushed us~.

Ur: (smirk) Oh yeah, that. That felt amazing~... Ahem. Anyway, we have been proven a lot thanks to him. We should sneak our way.

Irene: You're going with them, are you?

Kuroka and Ur looked to see Irene, who was smirking and sitting near them, as she already heard due to her dragon hearing while Heine and Juliet with her.
