Ash was a ray of sunshine that pierced through my darkness. The first time we collided, something stirred within me, a sensation I couldn't shake. He was a good five or six inches shorter, his pouty lips and blush-kissed cheeks made my heart skip a beat. His bright smile could light up a room, and I was captivated.
As we grew closer, our friendship blossomed, and I found myself spending more time at his small apartment than my own. His scent lingered everywhere, driving me wild. Every moment with him felt like a gift.
"Kill, can you please bring me the new bottle of shampoo from the drawer?" he called out from the bathroom, his voice a gentle melody, I really love it when he calls me Kill.
"Yes," I replied, a smirk spreading across my face as I retrieved the shampoo.
As he opened the door, my breath caught. Water droplets danced down his lean body, and I couldn't help but crave him. His skin glistened, inviting me to touch. He's majestically beautiful.
"Here," I said, handing him the shampoo, trying to hide my arousal.
He flinched as I tucked his hair behind his ear, a faint pink coloring his ears. My fingers grazed his skin, sending shivers down my spine.
He took the bottle, and closed the door. I was left reeling, yearning to see more of him. I could see him all day.
We worked on our group assignment, but my focus wavered. Ash's lips beckoned me. I couldn't concentrate on the task at hand, my mind consumed by him.
"Can I kiss you?" I blurted, the words escaping before I could contain them.
Ash's face turned bright red, his eyes wide with surprise.
"Yes," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Our lips met, and everything else faded. I savored his taste, biting his upper lip asking him to give me access to his tongue.Time stood still.
"mmhm" he moaned, his voice a gentle hum.
I devoured his mouth, exploring every inch. My tongue danced with his, and I swallowed every moan that escaped his lips. His lips were soft, inviting. His taste was intoxicating.
Breaking apart, Ash looked breathtaking. His cheeks flushed, his eyes sparkling.
"I- I," he stuttered, his breathless voice sending shivers down my spine.
"Meen, it's okay, breathe," I soothed, my arms wrapping around him.
His breathing slowed, and he gazed up at me. His eyes searched mine, seeking reassurance.
"Kill...I shouldn't have kissed...you, right?" he asked, uncertainty etched on his face.
"No, baby, you didn't do anything wrong. I like it...I love it," I reassured, my voice filled with conviction.
"Kill...why did you kiss me?" he asked, his voice cracking.
" Because your lip looked really kissable," I lied, hiding the truth.
There was more, but I couldn't admit it. I couldn't confess that I was drawn to him, that he made me feel alive.
"Oh," he said, his expression hurt, his eyes welling up with tears.
My heart sank.
"Can you...please leave...I just want some time alone to clear my mind?" he asked.
I nodded, feeling helpless.
"I'm a coward", I thought, unable to comfort him, unable to Chase away his demons.
"I'll go," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
As I departed, I felt like I was leaving a part of myself behind. The distance between us grew, and I couldn't bridge the gap. I couldn't go to to him and clasp him.
I couldn't love him.
