Katie's POV

"Why are you packing?" Bex asked me, pointing at my belongings that were stuffed tightly into a large black suitcase. Instead of a simple response, I walked right up to her and placed both of my hands against the sides of her face. I then started to check her for any marks, letting out a small sigh of relief. "I...I thought you were gone, Bex." I told her softly, placing my forehead against hers. "Why would I be gone, babe?" she asked me, "You disappeared for a couple of days." I replied, trying to not cry in front of her. I was so exhausted from all of the constant worrying...

"I never disappeared. I am right here. See?" Bex asked me before she placed a gentle kiss against my lips. I kissed her back, then pulled away as soon as I tasted something metallic. No...I must be hallucinating. Bex couldn't be one of them. I would need hard evidence.

"But, you weren't here...-"

"You are whacked out, babe. Your mind isn't right. Get some sleep. Please?" she asked me. My mind wasn't right? But...I swear she was gone...was I living in some type of fucked up dream?

I let out a small sigh, going over to the bed and moved the suitcase out of the way, placing it down on the floor before I crawled onto it, then before I knew it, I crashed out for the night.

The next day, I woke up feeling much more refreshed. It felt like I had slept for centuries and the best news was that my fiancé was next to me. "I made us some breakfast." she sang, before she moved the tray over to me as I sat up with a smile on my face. She made me waffles with some strawberries on top. "This is why I love you so much." I told her as a thank you, before I grabbed a fork and began to eat the food that was given to me.

While I was eating, I watched Bex take out something which made me stop eating immediately. "Why do you have a blood bag?" I asked her. "It's my breakfast, of course." she replied with a natural tone of voice, "It's best if you look away."

And that was my hard evidence.

"You do  know that we are due to be married in two weeks? And now, you are suddenly a vampire? Who the fuck turned you? Tell me everything, Beckie."

"Secrets are best to be kept secrets." she chuckled to herself before she sank her fangs into her 'breakfast'. I almost wanted to rip my own hair out. What was up with the sudden behaviour change?

"Are you even my Bex anymore? Who are you? What the fuck have you done with my fiancé, you imposter?"
