★ Do you still love her? ★

Alastor stayed in the palace with Lucifer for another week after Christmas before they went back to the hotel.

Lucifer was in the kitchen, drinking coffee. Alastor roamed the halls curiously till he found his way into a room, a room full of ducks and a very specific picture. "Hm?" He hums, walking over to the picture. 'Lucifer, Charlie, and.. Lilith?' He thought, raising an eyebrow at the picture but his thoughts were interrupted by a rattle and the door.

Alastor got startled and immediately jolted under a table. Lucifer entered the room.

"Al? You in here, Bambi?" Lucifer's voice echoed in the room.

Alastor stayed quiet, hoping he wouldn't make any noise. Lucifer walked over to the picture and sighed, 'I hope you never come back.' He stood there for a moment and left the room.

After a few minutes, Alastor makes his way out from up under the table and quietly left the room, continuing to walk through the hallway. Lucifer noticed Alastor walking down the hall and smiled widely.

"Hey, Bambi!! Over here!" Lucifer said, waving excitedly.

Alastor snapped out of the countless thoughts and looked over at his lover's excited face, he walks over. Lucifer gives him a tight hug but noticed something..something different.

"You okay, love?" Lucifer asked, pulling away from Alastor.

"Luci, dear.. Can we talk for a moment?" Alastor asked nervously.

"Of course, what is it-" Lucifer gets cut off.

"Do you still love her?.." Alastor asked.

"What?.. Lilith?! No! Of course not! I love you, more than anything. Why would you ask that?" Lucifer said, grabbing Alastor's hand.

"The picture." Alastor said, slightly pulling his hand away.

Lucifer realized the picture still on the wall in his..duck room..I guess? He pulled Alastor into his arms and gave him a soft yet passionate kiss.

"I love you, okay?"

"I love you too."
