With BTS officially on tour, the dorm felt oddly empty. The usual noise, laughter, and bustle were replaced by an almost eerie silence. Y/N wandered through the rooms, feeling a little lost without the presence of the members she had grown so close to.

She found herself in the living room, her phone resting on her lap. Every so often, she would glance at it, hoping for a text or call from one of them. Though it had only been a few hours since they left, she couldn’t shake the feeling of missing them already. Especially Jungkook.

Her thoughts drifted back to their conversation the night before. His words—I like you—echoed in her mind over and over again. She wasn’t sure how to feel. Part of her was thrilled at the idea that he liked her, but the other part of her was scared. What would this mean for them? And what if she wasn’t ready to explore those feelings?

As if on cue, her phone buzzed, pulling her out of her thoughts. It was a message from Jungkook.

Jungkook: Hey, how are you holding up? Miss the chaos already? 😄

Y/N smiled, feeling her heart warm at his thoughtfulness. She quickly typed a response.

Y/N: I do miss it a little, actually. It’s so quiet here without you guys. ☹️

His reply came almost instantly.

Jungkook: We miss you too. The boys are already talking about how weird it feels not having you around. 🥲

Her fingers hovered over the keyboard for a moment before she typed again.

Y/N: How’s everything going on your end? Rehearsals going well?

Jungkook: Yeah, everything’s going smoothly. But I can’t stop thinking about last night… I meant what I said, Y/N. Just wanted to remind you. ❤️

Her breath hitched as she read the message, her heart pounding in her chest. He was being so open, so honest, and it made her feel things she wasn’t sure she was ready to confront just yet.

Y/N: I know, and I appreciate it. I just… need some time to figure everything out. 😅

Jungkook: Take all the time you need. I’m not going anywhere. ✈️

That evening, Y/N found herself curled up on the couch with Aisha, catching up on their favorite K-dramas. It felt nice to have some normalcy, but no matter how hard she tried, her thoughts kept drifting back to the boys—especially Jungkook.

Aisha noticed her distraction and nudged her with her elbow. “Earth to Y/N? You’ve been zoning out for the past ten minutes. What’s going on?” she teased. 🧐

Y/N sighed, shifting uncomfortably. “It’s just… everything’s been so crazy lately. With the guys gone, it feels weird, you know?”

Aisha raised an eyebrow, sensing there was more to the story. “Uh-huh… and is this ‘weirdness’ by any chance related to a certain someone whose name starts with ‘J’ and ends with ‘ungkook’?” 😏

Y/N groaned, burying her face in her hands. “You’re too perceptive for your own good.”

Aisha laughed, nudging her again. “Come on, spill the tea. What happened?”

Reluctantly, Y/N told her everything—about the conversation she had with Jungkook, about how he had confessed his feelings, and about how conflicted she felt.

Aisha listened quietly, nodding along as Y/N spoke. When she was finished, Aisha let out a low whistle. “Wow. I mean, I knew there was something going on between you two, but I didn’t think it would happen so soon.” 🤯

Y/N shook her head, feeling overwhelmed. “I didn’t either. And now I don’t know what to do. He’s amazing, but I’m scared. What if this ruins our friendship? What if I’m not ready for something more?”

Aisha placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Look, no one’s saying you have to make a decision right now. It’s okay to take your time and figure out what you really want. And if Jungkook really cares about you, which it sounds like he does, he’ll understand that.” 💕

Y/N nodded, feeling a little more at ease. Aisha always knew how to calm her down. “Thanks, Aisha. I really needed to hear that.”

Aisha grinned, flipping her hair dramatically. “What can I say? I’m a genius when it comes to love advice.” 😎

As the days passed, Y/N slowly adjusted to life without BTS around. She kept busy with work, spending time with Aisha, and checking in with the boys whenever she could. They were always quick to update her on their tour adventures, sending funny pictures and videos from rehearsals and concerts.

But despite the distractions, she couldn’t stop thinking about Jungkook. His confession weighed heavily on her mind, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something big was brewing between them.

One evening, while she was scrolling through her phone, she received another message from Jungkook.

Jungkook: I was thinking about you today. Just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing. 💬

Her heart fluttered at his words, and she found herself smiling as she typed a reply.

Y/N: I’m doing okay. Just trying to keep myself busy while you’re away. 🥲

Jungkook: Good to hear. I miss seeing your face every day. 🖤

The honesty in his words made her stomach flip. She wasn’t used to this kind of vulnerability, but it was hard not to feel something when he was being so open with her.

Y/N: I miss you too, Jungkook. More than I expected. 😳

There was a brief pause before his next message came through.

Jungkook: When I get back, we’ll talk more. I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking of you. A lot. 🥺

As the days turned into weeks, Y/N couldn’t deny that her feelings for Jungkook were growing stronger. She found herself eagerly awaiting his texts, smiling whenever his name popped up on her phone. And though she still wasn’t sure where things would lead, one thing was certain—her life was about to change in ways she never could have imagined.
