The days leading up to BTS’s mini-tour passed in a blur. Between rehearsals, meetings, and last-minute preparations, there was barely any time to breathe, let alone process the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside Y/N.

It was one of those rare evenings when the dorm was quiet, and everyone seemed to be resting. Y/N found herself sitting on the rooftop, the cool breeze brushing against her face as she gazed out at the city lights below. The stars above twinkled like distant hopes, and for a moment, everything felt serene.

Just as she began to lose herself in thought, the sound of footsteps interrupted the stillness. She turned to see Jin walking toward her with a gentle smile, his hands in his pockets.

Jin: “Couldn’t sleep?” he asked, sitting down beside her. 🌙

Y/N shook her head, smiling softly. “Yeah, I guess I’ve just been thinking too much.”

Jin: “You know, the rooftop is my go-to place when I need to clear my head. There’s something peaceful about the sky at night, isn’t there?” He looked up at the stars, his expression thoughtful. 🌠

Y/N: “Yeah, it makes everything seem a little smaller. Like the things I’m worried about aren’t so big after all.”

Jin nodded, sensing the underlying concern in her words. “Is it the tour that’s bothering you? Or… something else?” he asked, his voice gentle but knowing.

Y/N sighed, hugging her knees to her chest. “It’s a bit of both, I guess. I know you all have to go, but I can’t help feeling like everything is going to change. And then… there’s Jungkook.” She hesitated, realizing she had finally said it out loud.

Jin raised an eyebrow, surprised but not entirely caught off guard. “Ah, so it’s about Jungkook.” He chuckled softly. “I figured something was going on there. You two have been spending a lot of time together lately.”

Y/N, feeling her cheeks heat up, quickly looked away. “It’s not like that—well, I don’t know what it is. It’s confusing.” 🫣

Jin: “You know, it’s okay to feel confused. But sometimes, you have to take a step back and ask yourself what you really want. Do you like him?”

Y/N hesitated for a moment before nodding. “Yeah… I think I do.” Her voice was barely above a whisper, but in the stillness of the night, it felt louder than ever. 💓

Jin smiled, giving her a reassuring pat on the back. “Well, you’ve got some time to figure it out. And if you do like him, don’t be afraid to let him know. Life’s too short to keep things bottled up.”

The next day, the group had their final rehearsal before leaving for the tour. As always, Y/N watched from the sidelines, but this time, her gaze kept drifting toward Jungkook. His energy was magnetic, and despite the intense choreography, he never failed to flash her a smile whenever their eyes met. 😄✨

Once the rehearsal was over, the boys gathered around to relax for a moment. J-Hope threw himself onto the floor, dramatically fanning his face. “I swear, every time we do this routine, I feel like I’m getting older.” 😩

Suga, ever the calm one, sat down beside him, chuckling. “You’re not the only one, Hobi. My knees are starting to remind me of that every day.” 😅

Y/N couldn’t help but laugh at their banter, and for a moment, the tension she had been feeling lifted.

RM, noticing her lighter mood, came over and sat down beside her. “You seem a little more at ease today. Did you finally get some clarity?” he asked, his voice soft and reassuring.

Y/N nodded. “Yeah, I think so. Talking to Jin helped.”

RM smiled knowingly. “Jin’s good at that. He’s got a way of helping you see things from a different perspective.”

Later that evening, as the group was packing up for their tour, Jungkook approached Y/N with a determined look in his eyes.

Jungkook: “Hey, can we talk?” he asked, his voice steady but laced with something deeper. 🧐

Y/N, feeling her heart rate pick up, nodded and followed him to a quieter corner of the dorm.

Jungkook: “I’ve been meaning to talk to you for a while now, but with the tour coming up, I didn’t want to leave things unsaid.” He paused, taking a deep breath before continuing. “I like you, Y/N. More than just as a friend.” 😳

The words hung in the air, and for a moment, Y/N felt like the world had stopped spinning. She blinked, trying to process what he had just said.

Y/N: “You… like me?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook nodded, his expression serious but soft. “Yeah, I do. And I don’t expect you to feel the same way or to know how to respond right now. But I just couldn’t go on tour without being honest with you.” 💓

Y/N felt her chest tighten as the reality of the situation sank in. She had spent so much time trying to figure out her own feelings, and now, here he was, laying everything out in the open.

Y/N: “I… I don’t know what to say.” she admitted, her voice shaky.

Jungkook smiled, though there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. “You don’t have to say anything right now. I just wanted you to know.” He took a step back, giving her space. “We’ll talk when I get back. No pressure.” ✈️

With that, he gave her a small, reassuring smile and walked away, leaving Y/N standing there, her heart racing and her mind spinning with a thousand thoughts.

---

As the boys left for the airport the next morning, Y/N stood by the door, watching them pile into the van. Jungkook gave her one last glance before climbing in, his eyes lingering on hers for just a moment longer.

And with that, they were gone.

Y/N stood there, her heart heavy with the weight of everything that had just happened. She didn’t know what the future held, but one thing was certain: her life had just changed in ways she hadn’t anticipated.
