THE WATER DROPLETS FELL FROM THE EDGE OF THE ROOF, dripping onto the ground. It was a misty and rainy weather, having a chilly breeze. The little girl peered through the window as she watched the rain sink down to the ground, sighing heavily.

The L/N clan was having a meeting with another clan, and the girl was eager to see the other clan. However, as usual, she was bedridden due to her disease. But, she was determined to see the other clan, and nothing was going to stop her.

Slowly and steadily, she got off of her bed and steadied herself as she stepped on to the floor. She quietly approached to the door, stumbling slightly on her way.

She slid the door open, her bright red eyes glancing left and right. After making sure no one was around, she briskly made her way to the meeting room.

The girl stumbled her way through the corridors, shivering slightly from the cool breeze. Once she reached the meeting room, she hid behind a door, gazing as the elders conversed.

Her red eyes then flicked towards a boy who seemed to be around her age, he had snowy white hair, along with bright blue eyes. He had an irritated scowl, gaping at the floor.

The girl however, didn't realize that she was staring at him. Until the boy flicked his gaze upon her, his eyes narrowed causing the girl to flinch.

Her eyes slightly widened, her breath hitched as she quickly ran out of there. She leaned against the wall for support, hiding herself in an empty room, closing the door behind her. She let out a sharp exhale, calming herself.

'THUD!' The door opened with a loud thud, the girl let out a small gasp when she saw the same boy who was in the meeting room.

The boy snapped his head towards the girl, she shrinked back, slightly startled as the boy approached her. "Who are you? Why were you staring at me?" He said, his tone firm.

The girl blinked, a bead of sweat rolling down her forehead. "I-I am sorry...I-I just wanted to see the other c-clan." She stuttered out timidly.

The boys mouth formed into a frowned, his eyebrows furrowed. He took notice of her fragile form before he spoke, "Your the L/N clans failure, aren't you? I am surprised a fragile and thin girl like you even have cursed energy." He said, scorning at her. The girl gave him a weak smile, lowering her gaze.

The boy continued to glare at her, "You still haven't told me your name." He scoffed, averting his gaze from her. The girl pursed her lips, "Y/N L/N." She spoke, looking up at the boy.

"Y/N huh? Not a bad name. I am Satoru Gojo." He replied. There was a moment of silence, before Satoru suddenly grabbed Y/N's arm and pulled her closer to him slightly, he stared at her as if he was inspecting her.

"Your very weak, you can barely even walk." He said, glancing down at her legs. The girl was so thin, even her kimono didn't fit her properly. He let go of her arm, stepping back.

"Your an odd girl, I've never met anyone like you." He scoffed, crossing his arms as he scowled at her. "Can you even use your cursed energy?" He questioned, waiting for her response.

Reluctantly, Y/N shook her head. "I can't use them, I am too weak." She replied dejectedly. Satoru was about to say something when suddenly,

"Lady Y/N!!"  Both Y/N and Satoru were startled, Y/N turned back and saw her servant, Asuka. "Lady Y/N! You know very well you shouldn't be out of bed!" She scolded, before gently grabbing her thin arm.

"You must get back to your room this instant!" She scolded once again as she dragged her away. Y/N turned her gaze to Satoru, giving him a small wave. Surprisingly, he waved back, looking at her with a more soft gaze.

Once she was out of sight, he muttered to himself, having the faintest smile of his face. "Weirdo.."

ASUKA PULLED THE COVERS ON YOU as Y/N huffed in defeat. Asuka took a deep breath before she spoke, "Lady Y/N, please, just stay in bed, its best for you." She said with a hint of worry in her tone, turning around as she started to leave.

"If you need anything, please do not hesitate to call for me." She bowed, exiting the room.

....

Right, you were bedridden. Because of your disease. Y/N L/N was the L/N clans failure due to the sickness she was born with. She was given many treatments, however she didn't recover nor did any docters find a cure for the poor girl, giving the clan zero hope.

Her father and relatives worry everyday, thinking that she would most likely die at any time. The disease caused her to lack energy, having pale skin, thin and fragile body. She could barely even walk around. 

Her chance of becoming the next head of the clan was ruined, all because of her sickness. If only, there was a cure, a cure for her to live longer.
