Y/N SAT ON THE EDGE OF THE PORCH, huffing heavily as she dangled her tiny legs off the edge, staring at the garden. It was a quite a sunny day, making her more gloomy. The poor girls skin would burn if she went out in the sun.

So, she had to stay indoors. Which, to her, was complete misery. However, after having that encounter with Satoru, Y/N couldn't get him out of her head. He was constantly evading her thoughts, she wanted to meet him again.

But, that wasn't possible for her, because she always has to stay indoors. And that made her depressed as fuck. Consumed by her thoughts, she didn't notice her father sitting beside her.

He gently tapped her shoulder, catching her attention. "What are you thinking about Y/N?" He asked her out of the blue. She flinched, fuck, what's she gonna say?

She stammered, fiddling with her hands, "I-I..uh, well..nothing really, I am just thinking about..how nice the garden is!"

She blurted out in ease, not before noticing her fathers skeptical look. "I doubt it." He replied, resting his chin on the palm. Y/N sighed in defeat, "You doubt everything I say and do father.." she muttered, gazing at her father.

Her father chuckled, "Your my daughter, shouldn't I know what you have in mind?" Y/N puffed her cheeks out at his response, clearly unsatisfied. "I guess that's fair."

Her father hummed before speaking again, "So, what are you doing here all alone?" Y/N sighed heavily, "Father I—" She paused, collecting her thoughts as she continued,

"Father, I really want to go outside, I want to meet other people, and make friends. I want to play with my cousins—!" She said, a hint of desperation in her tone.

"I know it's not safe, it's dangerous but I really want to! I sick of always staying indoors." Y/N spoke, her eyebrows furrowin in frustration and desperation. She looked up at her father, her red eyes brimming with hope, "Please, please let me out..?"

She softly pleaded, silently hoping for him to agree. However, her father stood silent, clenching his fists he sighed. "Y/N, dear, you know I can't do that. I know you crave to go outside, but I can't let you." He spoke, his voiced laced with sorrow.

Y/N's bottom lip quivered slightly at his words, she expected this but it only made her more hopeless. Her father noticed her expression, gently cupping her chin, "I already lost your mother, I can't lose you too."

He spoke in a gentle tone as he pressed a soft kiss against her head. "But I promise, when we find the cure and heal you, you be able to anything you want."

She didn't feel any better, slowly and steadily, she stood up. Her frail legs trembled as she turned around and left to her room. As she reached her room, she immediately shut herself inside, leaning against the door.

She let out a painful sigh to herself, knowing whatever she did, she won't get her freedom she yearned for.

JUST LIKE HER, Satoru too, couldn't get her out of his head. He lay on his bed, gazing at the ceiling, his legs and arms sprawled in every direction.

He wanted to meet her again, he wanted to know more about her. It was clear that Y/N had piqued Satoru's interest, Satoru found her amusing, always stammering and nervous, not to mention her cute face which he couldn't get out of his mind.

Sighing heavily, the boy then suddenly had a mischievous idea. Of course, it was to run away and go to the L/N clans compound, eager to see Y/N again.

The boy grinned to himself, quickly hopping out of bed as he immediately went to his closet. He scrambled through his clothes before finding a bluish grey jacket and shorts. Quickly, he slipped into the new pair of clothes as he was determined to escape.

He then approached the door, quietly opening as he rushed outside. He walked slowly through the hallways making sure no one saw him. As he reached the main door, he looked back before he left the clan house, smirking proudly.

He shoved his hands into his pockets, then he set off to the L/N clans compound.

SATORU REACHED THEIR HOUSE, peeking through Y/N's window, she was sitting on her bed as she was consumed by her thoughts. Satoru took this as an opportunity and sneak into her room as she wasn't noticing.

With a swift movement, Satoru climbed over her window and landed on her bed causing Y/N to snap out of her thoughts. Her eyes widen is surprise before she shrieked, "W-what are you doing here!?" She blurted out, pointing at him.

Satoru tensed before shushing her, putting his index finger on her lips, "Shush! Your gonna get me caught!" he whispered-yelled as he removed his finger from her lips.

"I-it's you, your that boy.." Y/N spoke, recognizing the boy. Satoru nodded, "I guess you didn't forget." He muttered, averting his gaze. "You must be wondering why I am here," Satoru stated which made Y/N nod in acknowledgment.

Satoru paused, not finding the right words to explain. A slight blush appeared on his face before he spoke, "Well, I-..I want to get to know you better," he blurted out nervously.

"I want to get to know you better.." Y/N red eyes brimmed with happiness and excitement at Satoru's words. "You want to be friends..?..with me?" She spoke nervously as Satoru nodded.

"Yea friends, if that's okay with you." Y/N grinned widely, before holding her hand out, gesturing for a handshake. "Then, from now on, we're friends!" She exclaimed happily.

Satoru, finding her cuteness too much, timidly took her hand. "Don't get too giddy about it." He mumbled. But Y/N couldn't help it, she was overjoyed.

That was a day Y/N could never forget about, it was the day Y/N made her first friend. It was her most cherished memory.
