The next morning, Grandma arrived at the hospital, her face etched with concern. As she entered the room, she was met with a heartwarming sight: Ji-Hyun and Min-Soo were awake and recovering.
Grandma's eyes welled up with tears as she rushed to Ji-Hyun's mother, embracing her tightly. "Thank God they're okay," she whispered.
Ji-Hyun's mother smiled, her voice filled with relief. "The doctor said Min-Soo will be discharged in a week, and Ji-Hyun can go home tomorrow."
Grandma's gaze shifted to Min-Soo, and she hurried to his side. She took his hand, her tears flowing freely as she kissed it and pressed it against her cheek.
Min-Soo comforted her, "Grandma, I'm fine. Don't cry. If it weren't for Ji-Hyun, none of this would have happened. You shouldn't worry."
Grandma's voice trembled, "Min-Soo, I'm proud of you. You risked your life to save hers. And remember, Ji-Hyun suffered too, alongside you."
Ji-Hyun's mother thanked Grandma, her eyes shining with gratitude.
Grandma rose, walked to Ji-Hyun's bed, and gently stroked her forehead. "Baby, get well soon. I'll take you home soon."
The room filled with warm laughter, a sense of relief washing over everyone.
Grandma turned to Ji-Hyun's parents, "Now, go home and rest. I'll take care of them."
With reassured smiles, Ji-Hyun's parents bid farewell, leaving Grandma to watch over the recovering duo.
