CHAN'S POV:

"Are you alright?" I ask Jiyeon, who was seated between me and Minho. We were on the flight to Malaysia and she'd been fidgeting around for a bit.

"Uh, yeah. Just a tad bit cold," she shudders, trying to play it off as nothing. None of us had actually known what the weather was going to be like there. Minho and Jiyeon had dressed and packed like it was summertime, while I was dressed for sweater weather. Needless to say, we were all pretty surprised when we saw each other. I wouldn't think a person wearing a trench coat and another person wearing shorts and a floral printed t-shirt were going to the same destination.

I open my coat and look at her, motioning her to use some warmth from me. It was probably a bit too physically close for her, but she seemed like she really needed it.

"I- Is that- Am I supposed to hug you??" She asks, eyes flying open. I shrug.

"Only if you want," I say nonchalantly, as if the very thought of her snuggling with me didn't make my heart beat a million times faster. Seeing that I didn't really think much of it (oh I did think a lot about it) she decides to loosen up and slowly wraps her arms around my torso which was covered by a fuzzy grey sweater. I internally scream at the action. I wasn't actually expecting her to agree to it. Nevertheless, I wrap my arms over her back to keep her cozy.

"Just because I'm watching a movie doesn't mean I can't see anything else. What's going on between you two?" Minho interrogates, pulling out his earphones and looking at us with his eyebrows perked up. He was watching some animated movie with a bunch of animals in it, a stark contrast to his usual dark and manly persona. Without realizing it, I pull Jiyeon closer to my chest. I knew it wasn't very professional of me but I didn't like that the two of them were getting...closer.

"There's nothing. Why can't friends hug each other?" she defends, surprisingly not moving away from me. It stings to hear the word "friends."

"Really? In that case, can I cuddle with you too? I'm really cold right now," he pouts and pretends to shiver, rubbing his hands over his arms. Jiyeon punches him playfully for the spot-on imitation. I shake my head.

"Anyways, how about you tell us who you have been texting away the whole night with?" She suddenly asks. I was thinking about whether or not I should bring it up right now because really, the man spent ninety-five percent of our time in the airport on his phone. Who could possibly be awake at two in the morning?

Minho looks like a deer caught in the headlights and that's when we realize that he in fact, was hiding something. Nervousness strikes his features as he avoids eye contact with both of us.

"Come on, who is ittttt~" Jiyeon bugs him, yanking him repeatedly by his shirt to annoy him. The cold air briefly returns to my body when she pulls her hands out of my coat.

"Uhh, I don't think you really wanna know," he tries to throw us off topic. Unfortunately for him, he was stuck with two detectives who don't give up till they get answers.

"Why won't I? Is it Jisung? Are you in love with a criminal?" She jokes.

"The fuck-"

"I'm kidding," she giggles, the sound making me feel all fuzzy inside. "Now, tell me who it actually is."

"Or else I'll raid your phone," I join in on the teasing.

"Fine," Minho sighs exasperatedly. "It's...Hyunjin," he says, looking away shyly. Jiyeon and I look at each other victoriously for making him give in, before the words finally register in her head.

"Wait. Hyunjin? Hwang Hyunjin? My bitchless best friend?" She asks, eyes as wide as saucers.

"No longer bitchless, I guess," I comment from the side.
