Taehyung searched everywhere but Jungkook was nowhere to be found. He threw another punch at the railing of the balcony he was standing in and growled in frustration when a faint whimper reached his ears. He hastily turned toward where the sound came from. It was a pile of empty boxes in one corner of the large balcony. He took anxious steps and removed a big carton and there he was, tucking his head in his knees and brutally shivering and whimpering.

"Jungkook.." Taehyung put some more small cartons aside and made space for himself. He crouched down and hesitantly reached his hand to Koo's shivering shoulder. Koo peeked through his arms and scooted back whimpering loudly, "no..no..p-please..no..."

"Jungkook it's me Taehyung...I'm sorry...I didn't m-mean a-anything malicious...j-just..your s-scent was soothing m-my headache..and I slipped.." Kim Taehyung was stuttering, maybe for the first time in his life. Koo didn't respond as if he wasn't listening anything nor did he lift his face. All he was doing was smitening more into the wall behind him.

Taehyung again reached his arm to caress Koo's head this time. "I-I'm n-not a s-sl-slut.." Koo spoke hardly.

"No Jungkook what are you saying...who said this to you and who is this Jack..." Taehyung said surprised, scooting closer to the boy who looked up with wide eyes hearing the name from Taehyung's mouth. His eyes were swollen and pink hues were floating there along with tears. The button nose was red and runny. "h-hyu-hyungie.." he was shocked as if expecting someone else but it happened to be Taehyung. The fear slowly subsided out of Koo's eyes seeing the man near him.

Taehyung has visible clouds of worry in his eyes which didn't go unnotice by Koo.

"Jungkook, it was by mistake. I will never do it again. I'm not what you are thinking of me. Please forgive me." Kim Taehyung was pleading because his heart was experiencing a fear. A fear of being misunderstood, fear of losing connection with the boy whose baby fragrance was stamped in his mind and whose pretty eyes were doing unknown things to his heart. The boy who came in his life days ago and already had a great impact on him that he got him do something so unlikely of him. So daring. In Taehyung's opinion, so low. Nuzzling someone's neck and inhaling their scent without taking permission wasn't decent. It wasn't Kim Taehyung's normal.

Koo kept staring at the man sitting on his knees in front of him. Eventually he stopped crying and was just listening to and thinking whatever Taehyung had to say. He ran his eyes over the man's handsome face. On this moment, it wasn't expressionless. It was clearly distressed and ashamed.

"Please Jungkook.." Taehyung pleaded again in his deep voice, not meeting Koo's big eyes and looking down at his set of three delicate rings.

"What I told you about my n-name, hyung.." his voice sounds shivery when he spoke wiping his cheeks with his paws. "It's Koo.." he raised on his knees as well and with a certain hesitation in his actions, he moved closer and hugged Taehyung lightly because the man gave him a vibe of safety. He felt bad for him, for reacting like this. He could simply push the man away but his mind played game with him. His trauma got the best of him. His vision betrayed him and masked Taehyung as the man Koo hated with all his heart.

Taehyung stayed still. He didn't expect Koo to hug him after what he has done in the heat of the moment. He couldn't raise his arms and wrap them around the tiny boy. He wanted Koo to slap him instead of holding him so softly.

Koo sensed Taehyung's reservation and retreated slowly. He tried to smile but failed badly. He wanted Taehyung to say something to cut this awkwardness. But when the duration of silence got longer than a few minutes, Koo slowly stood to leave and then his eyes drew to the bleeding knuckles, "haawwh...your hand.." he again sat down and grabbed Taehyung's injured hand, "i-it's bleeding hyung.," he said again to let the man know and trace his trembling fingers on the bruises.
