Chapter-3

One week had passed in the Kim's Nest and Koo was pretty much more comfortable with Kims than before. He also likes his new purple-themed room. And the cherry on top, he was getting freshly homemade banana milk three times a day after every meal as a reward from his newly found appa. He already feels at home in these few days but still misses his hyungs because he has never been separated from them till now.

Koo didn't want to make them worry as they were agonized about Koo's low mood and down health conditions lately but he couldn't tell them anything. He has no other option but to hide the reason behind why he doesn't feel like before anymore. Why does he stop living like before? Why is he afraid of hearing loud sounds and flinches at small casual touches? Why did he quit goofing around? There were so many things he stopped doing at this young age. He has to bury it all inside his broken heart or else everyone will hate him, he keeps thinking this thought every night.

However, Koo has an idea that his hyungs somehow know that something is extremely wrong with their baby which Koo denies every time they ask for it. Therefore, when they requested him to visit Seoul for some change, he did not refuse them. Here at least there was no fear of him. He could breathe freely, and roam around the house openly.

"Umm...What are you thinking baby,..?" Jin tried to pull out the boy back from his deep thoughts who had been spacing out for a while now. They were sitting side by side on the living room sofa, watching a drama. Mainly, No one was interested in the TV, Koo was zoning out and Jin was trying to figure out what his baby was pondering hard as a deep frown sat between his brows and a habitual pout decorated his lips.

"uhh...I,,..I ..appa I'm missing Minnie and yoongi hyungie...I wanna see them but my phone is not set yet..." The corners of his eyes brimmed with tears as he uttered quietly, missing his lovely hyungs.

"Aww baby.... you can call Jimin on my phone until your phone is all set...here?" Jin handed his Samsung to Koo who sat properly before video calling Min Jimin. (I'm too lazy to write their convo)

After talking to his hyungs, Koo had a big bunny smile on his face. He said a cute and humble thank chuu to Jin.

"Kookie, we are here with you..you can also share with us whatever you want and you can do anything to your liking in this household...you are not an outsider...consider this place as your own home....you are already my second baby....no, my only baby...yeah...now come give appa a hug and keep smiling" Jin hugged him and kissed his temple.

The boy was first taken aback by the sudden movement but then he snuggled closer to Jin searching for warmth. He was getting emotional. They had been treating him so special since he had arrived here as if he was their son whom they met after a long time of separation.

He wondered if having parents feels like this. He had never tasted parental love after he turned six, and he has no clear memories of his parents who they lost in an airplane crash.

Although Jimin and then Yoongi raised him like their baby but the gap his parents left in his life can never be filled by anybody.

He always wanted his parents in his life along with Jimin's unconditional love. Later, when Jimin met Yoongi and they became one, Koo found a father figure in his brother-in-law. Whenever, in school, he heard others talking about their parents, he desired the same as them, wanting to take part in the daily chatters of his classmates and now when after so long he was feeling content and safe in the embrace of Jin like a baby feels in his mother's hold, he was feeling overwhelmed and drowsy.

"Bub...." Jin tapped his shoulder lightly but the boy was not moving at all.

"Koo baby..." He called again but the boy was already lost in the peaceful dreamland.
