3rd Person
Mizumi wakes up in the hospital a few days after the mission. She sits up and stares blankly at her friends as they surround her bed.
"Siren! Thank goodness you're awake!" Ashido cries.
"How are you feeling?" Kirishima asks gently.
"I'm okay, I guess..." Mizumi's voice is quiet as she looks around the room. "What happened?"
"That villain caught you and knocked you out. Hawks found you and brought you here."
Iida explains.
"You should have been more careful, you damn goldfish." Bakugo says. The others had been surprised when he cared about her enough to visit her in the hospital, but they now realize he's only here to scold her.
"Bakugo, be nice. She just woke up," Sero scolds.
"Yeah, it's not her fault she got caught. That villain was really big and strong. There was no way she could have taken him down by herself!" Kaminari agrees.
"If she can't handle a dumb villain alone, then she's just a weakling!" Bakugo argues.
"Kacchan, calm down. We're in a hospital..." Midoriya says, trying to keep things quiet.
"Deku's right. We should get going anyway and let her rest," Uraraka says.
"I'm sure Shinso will be happy to see you when you get home, though." Midoriya says.
"Shinso...?" Mizumi questions.
"Your boyfriend that you're totally obsessed with?" Ashido gives her friend a weird look.
"Oh, right. Sorry, I guess I'm still not at one hundred percent yet..."
"Yeah, I have an idea. Why don't I talk to Toshi and we can both take you out on a date when you come home?" Kaminari offers.
"Uhm, okay..."
Kaminari kisses his girlfriend's forehead as he and the others leave her alone.
Mizumi watches silently as they leave the hospital room, observing her classmates as if seeing them for the first time.

Hawks, Tokoyami, and Monoma are the next group to come visit her a few hours later.
"Hey kiddo, how are you doing?" Hawks says as he enters the room with both boys.
Mizumi tenses at the sight of the pro hero. "I'm okay..." she says quietly.
"The doctor said we can take you home now," Dark Shadow says.
"I shouldn't have left you alone. I'm sorry," Monoma offers. Tokoyami had expected him to tease his teammate and make fun of her failures, but Monoma remains serious and genuinely concerned for his friend. It seems he has had a change of heart and does actually care about Mizumi.
"Come on, let's get you out of here," Hawks says. "You have a whole class of people waiting to see you come home."
"Yes, the others will be most excited for your return." Tokoyami says.
"Yeah, I bet they're gonna wanna celebrate!" Dark Shadow chimes in as he gently wraps himself around Mizumi.
"Calm yourself, Dark Shadow. Don't hurt Mizumi." Tokoyami scolds his sentient Quirk.
"Yeah yeah, I just missed her." The bird-like shadow says. "Don't act like you weren't crazy worried about her too, Fumikage."
Tokoyami looks away and retracts Dark Shadow as he gets teased by his own Quirk. "That's enough out of you."
The poor bird shadow pouts as his master takes his freedom away. Hawks watches in amusement as his fellow avian hero refuses to show much emotion, even for one of his closest friends. "You're good to go home right away, so let's go."
Mizumi is unusually quiet as the three of them walk her home. Hawks sticks around for a few minutes, talking to her classmates as they surround Mizumi, hugging her as they welcome her home. Mizumi hugs them back and smiles weakly, looking around at all the people who care about her.
"Hey, Kitty. Welcome home." Shinso says from behind her as he walks into the building. He hugs her tightly, rubbing her back and kissing the top of her head as he greets his beloved girlfriend. "Denki and I were so worried about you."
"Yeah, we both really love you and we don't want to see you get hurt. Do you know how much it scares us to see you get hurt all the time?" Kaminari says as he hugs her from behind.
Mizumi fakes a smile and apologizes quietly. "Sorry. I'll be more careful..."
Shinso notices something off about his girlfriend, but can't quite point it out yet. He keeps a close eye on Mizumi as he and Kaminari take her out for the rest of the afternoon. She is unusually quiet and shy, choosing to let Kaminari carry the conversation.
Kaminari, on the other hand, is completely oblivious to her unusual behavior. He assumes she's being quiet only because she is still a little shaken up from her encounter with a villain. But when Mizumi reacts to her favorite food as if she has never eaten it before, he shoots Shinso a suspicious look.
"We come here all the time. You haven't acted like that since the first time we brought you here. Why are you acting so different?" Kaminari questions.
Shinso's eyes widen as his boyfriend gets straight to the point.
"What are you talking about?" Mizumi responds cautiously.
"Kitty, tell the truth. Are you okay?" Shinso hates using his Quirk on his partners, but he has an idea. As Mizumi starts to respond, she gets caught in his brainwashing. "What is your name?"
"Siren Mizumi."
"How old are you?"
"Fourteen."
"Wrong. You are seventeen. One more question. Are you a hero or a villain?"
"Villain."
Shinso slightly eases his hold on Mizumi's mind as she gives him a wrong answer, despite his Quirk forcing those under his power to tell the truth. "Wrong. You are a hero. What makes you think you're a villain?"
Mizumi's eyes widen as she backs away from her boyfriend, realizing she has been caught.
"Tell the truth or I'm going to brainwash you again. What makes you think you're a villain?"
"I AM a villain. My mother and I are villains together. She's training me so I can kill Endeavor."
Kaminari is surprised at how honest she's being. But this isn't the girlfriend he knows and loves. It has become increasingly obvious that Mizumi has no memory of who she really is.
