The day of the concert arrived, eagerly anticipated by millions of Eris's fans across the country. His mind was set on one thing: making them happy. All the drama, the bad vibes—everything would be left behind for one night of pure joy with his supporters. The concert hall was immense, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. The energy was contagious, rippling through the crowd as they awaited his performance.
The show kicked off with an opening act by one of the country's top singers and dancers, setting the stage for Eris to take over. When his moment came, he burst onto the stage, electrifying the audience with a high-energy performance of "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, followed by "2002" by Anne Marie. The entire crowd danced and sang along, completely in sync with him.
As the night progressed, the concert felt magical. Eris performed some of his original songs like "As the Days," "Cold Wind," "I Will Never Forget," and "Lovers of the Night," along with several song covers. He was completely immersed in the moment, sharing his love for music with the people who had supported him all the way. To Eris, his fans weren't just an audience—they were family. He cherished them deeply.
As the concert drew to a close, Eris took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude and love to the crowd. He knew that being in the entertainment industry was demanding—maintaining an image, giving all his time to his fans, and forgetting, at times, that he too needed a break. But he loved what he did, the opportunity to share his talent and inspire others through his music and songwriting.
After the final bow, a one-hour "Meet and Greet" and fan signing session was held. Fans had the chance to ask questions and get autographs. Despite the exhaustion, seeing the smiles on their faces melted the fatigue away. One by one, Eris signed magazines, posters, and albums.
Then, as he handed a signed magazine back to one man, he froze. His heart skipped a beat when he saw who was standing before him. Tom. He had followed him here. That familiar, unsettling grin spread across Tom's face, and Eris's skin crawled with unease. Sweat broke out on his forehead as a sudden chill, amplified by the air conditioning, ran down his spine. When Tom reached out and touched Eris's hand, he instinctively jerked it back, his heart racing. Would this nightmare never end?
What was Tom doing here? As Eris looked at him, all the memories of their past came rushing back, overwhelming him. He remembered the first time he had laid eyes on Tom.
"Have you told him that you have a crush on him?" Lily, Eris's best friend, had asked eagerly. She was talking about Tom, Eris's ultimate crush since high school. Tom was a Swimmer Varsity at Rocky Hills University and also played basketball. Eris had chosen to attend the same university, partly because of him. Now, in his first year studying Multimedia Arts, he was still carrying the secret love for Tom, which he had nurtured since senior high.
"Nope, I don't know how," Eris had said, opening his locker to grab his books for math class. Lily was the only person who knew about Eris's feelings, just as Eris was the keeper of her secrets.
