grabe, isang taon na ang nakalipas.. I can't believe na I'm about to marry a man that i don't even love.

Evan Kai Alastor, The man that I will marry.. The one who boughtmy father's trust. Disgusting Creatures..

The grand hall of the Alastor manor was a symphony of opulence. Sunlight streamed through stained glass windows, casting kaleidoscopic patterns on the polished marble floor. The air hummed with anticipation, a cacophony of hushed whispers and excited chatter. It was the day of my wedding, the day I was to become Lady Alastor, the day I was to sacrifice my heart for the sake of my family.

I stood in my chamber, adorned in a gown of ivory silk, the weight of the heavy fabric mirroring the weight of my heart. My reflection stared back at me, a pale ghost of the girl who had once dreamed of love and freedom. My eyes, once bright with hope, were now shadowed with a dull ache of resignation.

As I was about to step out of the chamber, a sudden commotion erupted from the hallway. The sound of panicked shouts and the clatter of furniture pierced the air. My heart skipped a beat, a cold dread creeping up my spine.

My maid rushed in, her face pale with fear. "My Lady," she gasped, "there's... there's a disturbance. Someone is... someone is..."

Her words trailed off as a figure emerged from the shadows of the hallway. He was tall and cloaked in darkness, his face obscured by a hood. He moved with a silent grace, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity.

"Tria," he said, his voice a low rumble, "it's time to go."

Before I could react, he grabbed my arm, his grip surprisingly strong. A wave of dizziness washed over me, and the world spun around me. The last thing I saw was the horrified faces of my family, their cries of alarm echoing in my ears.

The next thing I knew, I was being dragged through the maze of corridors, my heart pounding against my ribs. My captor moved with a speed that defied logic, his footsteps silent on the marble floor. I struggled against his hold, but it was useless. He was too strong, too swift.

As we reached the grand entrance, the sunlight streaming through the doorway momentarily blinded me. My captor pulled me through the archway, and I was plunged into the darkness beyond. The world dissolved into a blur of shadows and whispers, the sounds of the wedding ceremony fading into a distant echo.

The grand doors of the wedding venue swung open, but instead of the radiant figure of Trianna, a chilling sight greeted the horrified guests.

The bloody and wounded body of a maid lay limp on the floor, causing gasps and screams of shock to fill the air.

Kai Alastor, Trianna's fiancé, clenched his teeth tightly as a sense of anger and recognition dawned upon him.

The only person behind this mess was clear to him - Demetrius Red Adano.

Thaniel, Trianna's father, cried out in desperation, "WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER!?"

Kai's gaze darkened as the weight of the situation hit him. Fear and panic spread through the room like wildfire, but he kept his composure.

He turned to Thaniel and pat his shoulder as a gesture of comfort.

"Don't worry, Father," Kai assured him, his voice taking on a firm and determined tone. "I will take care of this."

He scanned the crowd, his expression serious. "Everyone, please leave. The wedding is canceled for today."

The guests murmured amongst themselves, hesitating to leave, but Kai's authoritative demeanor left no room for disobedience.
