𝓝𝓪𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓲𝔂𝓪𝓪𝓷........ ""Pooja, please let's go to my place , please, please, please" My friend Mishti continuously pleaded me to come with her for a night stay as tomorrow was a holiday.
"But Mish, you are not trying to acknowledge my problem, see I can't come to your house" For the nth time i tried to reason her. But still she stood adamant on her decision.
Sighing I finally gave in as I know no one can win this stubborn girl. Well I don't have any problem to go her but the reason is her family.
It's not like I have some issue with them, but I don't know how to react with them. Being a single child only with my dad alone, I was never a fan of large gathering.
And listening to her, it's seems her family is a big one not much but very much for me. There are total
Umm .. Maybe 6 members no 7 members. But now only 5 of them when ll be new for me as one of them is out of town. She said. And one is her self, so a whole day with 5 new members.
I was calculating the outcomes of meeting them like what if they think I'm mannerless Or rude or something else.
It's not like I'm conscious of people's opinions but they are my bestfriend's family, of course I want to be in their good books.
I was completely engrossed in my thoughts when Mish snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Where are you lost pooja, we still have to asked permission from uncle. Let's go. Fast " She said and excitedly jumped of the bench we were sitting in.
She held my hand while I followed her. We made our way to our house.
And the most difficult part starts."Uncle, see your favorite daughter came to meet you " Mish chirped as she entered the house and started finding my dad. I followed behind.
"Oh so you finally remembered me little mouse " My dad stated as he stood up and walked towards us from his working cabin.
He came and hugged her while she reciprocated happily. Mish is so close to my dad . Before my friend she is favorite daughter and friend of my dad. And this makes me kinda jealous.
No worries I will yearn her family's love and make her jealous too.Even in his 50's my dad still have the same charm as his 30's . Even the girls and aunties of our society drool over him. And to avoid their 'buri nazar' (bad eye) on my dad I have to take special precautions .
They both sat chit chatting for a long time while I moved towards my room and get fresh. After that I came back to see both of them passing death glares to me.
