[Hyunjin POV]

"Well, you can come over to mine after school and you can work on it" I said to him.

When the final bell rang, I packed up my things and headed for the door. As I walked out of the classroom, I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Felix standing there, looking a bit unsure.

"Hey, Hyunjin," he started, glancing down at his thumbs before looking back at me. "Um, where do you live? So I can come over and work on the project?"

I raised an eyebrow, amused that he was still hung up on the whole project thing. "You're really serious about this, huh?" I teased, but when Felix didn't laugh, I sighed. "Don't worry about it. I'll drive you to my place."

Felix looked surprised but nodded. "Okay. Thanks"

We made our way to the parking lot, and I could see Felix trying to keep up with me as I pushed through the other students. Fuck, I hate people. Especially when they're all just standing there when you just want to get out.

It wasn't long before we reached my car, a shiny black sports car that probably didn't fit the typical high school vibe. Felix stared at it for a moment, wide-eyed.

"Is this your car?" he asked, voice filled with awe.

"Yeah," I said casually, unlocking it. "Get in." I don't know why this guy seemed so nervous. But he was also getting on my nerves with how slow he was.

Felix hesitated for a second before opening the passenger door and sliding in. I could tell he was trying to keep cool, but the way he glanced around the insides of my car made it clear that he was impressed.

The ride home was quiet at first, just the hum of the engine and the low sound of the radio. I didn't mind the silence, but after a while, it felt a little too... quiet.

"So, how was the first day?" I spoke, keeping my eyes on the road.

"It's been good" Felix replied while twiddling his thumbs.

I didn't know what to say, so I just kept driving. There wasn't much long of the journey left anyway.

We pulled up to my house, and as I expected, he looked a little stunned. It wasn't a mansion or anything, but it was enough to make him stop. He stared for a second before muttering under his breath, "Wow, your house is huge."

I shrugged. "Yeah, it's alright," I said, getting out of the car. "Come on."

He waddled and followed me inside, looking around like everything was brand new to him. I tossed my bag down by the door, not really giving a shit where it landed, and kicked off my shoes. But Felix,  he seemed more cautious, like he didn't want to mess anything up. It was honestly really funny, to watch him figure out what to do.

I flopped onto the couch in the living room, grabbing the TV remote. "Alright, you can start working on the project," I said, flipping through the channels trying to enjoy my life.

Felix just stood there for a second, clearly confused. "Wait... you're not going to help?"

I turned over, and glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. "Help? Why the fuck would I do that?"

He blinked, clearly not expecting that. "Because it's a group project..." he said, his voice rising slightly. "We're supposed to do it together."

I leaned back into the couch, barely holding back a smirk. "Look, you're the smart one here. You can handle the work. I'll handle the presentation or whatever. Deal?"

"Oh.. okay." he looked down and pulled out a notebook from his bag, sitting at the dining table

I mean, I wasn't a complete jerk, but schoolwork just wasn't my thing. It wasn't like I didn't care at all—I just didn't see the point of stressing over stuff that wouldn't matter in a few months. But Felix? He was the type to care. I could see it in the way he dove into his notes, scribbling down ideas and organizing everything neatly.
