This will be a one shot of Daddys Bunny. I miss writing that story so here's this
Larry wakes up feeling sad. Lau is away on a trip. A trip he said was only going to take two days max. It's been a week. Some miscommunication and faulty scheduling he's not due back for another three days. Adeline has stayed with him since they found out about the errors. It was initially Sofia but she had to return to work. Larry lays in his bed looking at laus side of the bed and he feels the tears.
"I wan daddy." He whispers to himself as he hugs his bunny closer.
"Larry baby, you awake?" Adi says knocking on the door.
"I wakes." He calls back. She opens the door and hands him her phone, where Lau video called.
"Look who called this morning." Larry takes the phone with a big smile, forgetting the tears on his face.
"Daddy!"
"Hey Bunny! Oh no. What's wrong?" Larry looked confused until he remembered he was crying.
"I wakes up and I cwy cause I miss you." He says as his face drops again.
"I'm sorry baby. I miss you too. Daddy has some good news." Larry perked up and smiled
"Good news?"
"Yes. Daddy flies homes tonight."
"Tonight." Larry says beaming at both the phone and Adi.
"Daddy come homes tonight."
"I heard." She says with a smile back.
"Daddy also has bad news." Larry froze and looked down at his bunny.
"Why daddy?"
"I know. Daddys won't be home til really late. So you'll still have to go to bed tonight without daddy."
"No. I can stay up. I wait for you." Larry's says shaking his head.
"No. Daddy still wants you in bed."
"No. I waits for daddy!"
"Larry-"
"No. I waits. Adi tell him I waits." Larry says aggressively handing Adi the phone.
"Baby if daddy says to go to bed I have to put you in bed." Larry's eyes filled with tears as he hugged his bunny tight to his chest.
"But I wanna see daddy Adi. Pwease no makes me sweep tonight." With a sigh she looked at her phone to see Lau rubbing his face.
"I knew I shouldn't have told you this early. Ok Larry can you hear me?" Adi hands him the phone back and Larry wipes his eyes before nodding.
"I wistening daddy."
"Ok. If you're a really good boy today, and I mean all day, daddy will allow you stay up til he gets home. If you misbehave even slightly, you will go to bed, do you understand?"
"Yes daddy. I'll wisten do Adi."
"Good. I love you baby. I gotta go."
"Oh. Ok. Wuv you daddy. Kissy." Larry says before blowing him a kiss. Lau returns the kiss before going back to Adi and finishing a different conversation.
"Larry can you go potty for me while I make breakfast?"
"Yes Adi." Larry learned that when he has babysitters it was easier to just use the bathroom normally and save his real baby headspace for only daddy. Daddy was the only one who could handle it. He goes potty and goes downstairs to play in the living room while Adi cooks.
