AUTHOR'S POV:-
It's evening time. Gentle bridge caressing his face softly , he should feel peace but right now he is impatient.
Yes he is waiting there for his love near the lake, which is far away from the village. It's already 4.30 and his love promised him that she will meet at 4.00.He is not angry but disappointed. So he decided to go back before he stood from his place, he heard an anklet jingle sound which confirmed her arrival.
He didn't turn to look at her, just stared at the lake. She know that he is upset but what she should do. Tiptoeing slowly sat beside him and leaned her head on his shoulder, held his arms with her both hands. He didn't looked at her but even let her touch him. After a few minutes she said
" I know Keshav that you are upset but what should I do? You know about my situation. "
He said with a straight expression
" It's not new nandu, you always do like this and moreover why do you care that I'm upset or not?".
She caressed his arms with her cheek and said with pout
" I care for you Keshav because I love you. And you know about Anna(brother) right, how strict he is. So I took time. Please don't be sad na".
He sighed and finally looked at her, his hand made way to her cheeks and caressed her cheeks softly. He embraced her by shoulder . They both sat there for minutes. It is silent but gives them peace.
Suddenly he remembered something and asked her
" So in which college you are joining for your graduation?".
She is hesitant but still said
" I'm not studying further."
He replied
" What are you saying Nandu you finished our 12th standard with good Mark's and now you are saying that you are not going to study further. Tell me is your parents forcing you to stop studying?".
She shook her head and replied.
" Firstly my family is strict but they never stopped me from studying. Second thing is I don't want to study. I never had intrest in studying, to spend some time with you so I joined PU college with you in Science stream that's it. But I can't study more now. Anyhow in our village there are hardly 2 to 3 girls who completed there graduation."
He looked at her for good minutes then said
" okay...I'm not forcing you, do whatever you want and it's your life. I'm happy that you still studied till 12th because my dear Nandu education is very important in our life."
Saying this he pulled both cheeks.
She asked him with a smile
" In which colleges are you joining?"
He replied caressing her hair
" Nandu I decided to do Bsc in PCM. Fortunately I secured good scores, so I got some scholarship also. I already enquired in 2 to 3 college and admission will start after 2 months so till then we have time".
