In Keshav's home
Malati( Keshav's mother) came back from work. She works in Maheshwari Rice mill. It's evening and Deepali( Keshav's sister) is doing her homework.
Malati freshened, kept tea on the stove and knowing Keshav is not at home she asked her daughter.
" Deepi where is your brother?".
Knowing her brother went to meet her girlfriend Nandini so she lied
" Actually amma(mother)....He went to meet his friend Mayur. They were discussing some college stuff."
Malati knows that her son went to meet Nandini....while coming home she saw her son waving at Nandini near the lake but she didn't know their relation. Now she kept quiet...she said
" okay...you come and drink tea."
They both drank their evening tea.
In night
Malati is serving food to her children and husband. They all are sitting on the floor.
While eating Keshav said
" From tomorrow I'm coming to the field with you Appa(Father) for 2 months".
Avinash replied
" No son...there is no need to work. You are already busy in college admission stuff. I know we have some financial problems but don't worry Saheb(Prakash) told me that he will help us."
Keshav said
" Appa I know that you are doing hard work for us...but you know I have 2 months time and I want to utilize it so..let me work with you."
Avinash agreed for his demand. Malati didn't interfere between them. They had their dinner with some family chat.
Avinash entered the kitchen. Looked at his wife who is busy in cleaning utensils. He turned her towards him and said
" Malu today I have night duty in the factory...so I'm going now."
Malati looked at her husband and said
" Why don't you care about your health....from morning you are working and still at night also you have duty..."
Seeing her angry wife, he held her hand
" Malu I can understand your concern but listen to me we have our children's responsibility. Let me work hard for a few years then see how our children can achieve their dreams. I don't want our children to face the same faith as us. Due to family financial problems we didn't see the school face. And I'm really happy to work hard if it will give our children a happy life."
Malati is in tears. Avinash hugged her and patted head. She said
" I'm very lucky to have a husband like you. You know you are the best husband and father."
Suddenly they heard a coughing sound and giggling too. And they know it's none other than there children's. It's not new for Deepali and Keshav because they saw their parents'love for each other. They admire them a lot.
Depali said teasingly
" I think the kitchen is not safe for romance. You both should have to tell that you want some privacy then we will stay outside."
Keshav and avinash laughed at her naughty comment but Malati showed her eyes that Deepali hide behind her father.
Avinash said
" Okay...Deepu stop teasing my wife. It's my time to go so close to the door correctly and sleep."
