Dear friend across the river
Everything was a pure chaos, red smoke everywhere. The only thing that could be seen were the statues, high above on the bridge.
My hands are cold and bare.
Almost full length of the bridge was covored in fire, making the scenery look nothing like the place that could be seen on the other side.
Dear friens across the river, I'll take what you can spare.
Explosions still happend here and there, making it almost impossible to breath.
I ask of you a penny.
An Enforcer can be seen walking around, reloading his gun.
My fortune it will be.
Suddenly the smoke clears out a little, showing two small figures making it to the horrible scene. One of them was a young girl with pink hair. By the look of her face, she was terrified. She knew what was happening around her. She knew that all of those people in here were dead.
I ask you without envy, We raise no mighty towers.
Next to the girl was a little blue haired boy, who was tightly holding one of her hands. His other hand was on his face, making sure that his eyes were covered.
Our homes are built of stone, So come across the river...
„And find..." Feeling his sister stopping in her tracks, the boy decided to stop too, taking his hand away from his face. Opening his eyes he saw the look of fear at his sisters face. Looking straight ahead he understood why. He quickly hid behind the girls leg, eyes wide open seeing the scene before him.
THE BRIDGE
A man beating up one of the Enforces. Bad. The sound of stall hitting the upsiders armor made both kids flinch. When the man saw that his victim wasn't moving anymore he stopped and started looking around, almost like in a search of something. But when he finally saw the siblings he stopped. The pink haired girl hid her brother even more, as the man made his way to them. When he stood infront of them, the girl started looking around in fear, just like she wanted to ask for someone. Looking at both of them he understood what must've happend. He closed his eyes and looked down, titling his head to side. Turning her head to the same direction, the girl saw some of the smoke clearing out. Slightly closing her eyes she saw someone, lying down in a pool of blood. It was their mom with their dad behind her. The boy, getting that something bad must've happend, hugged his sisters arm even closer to himself.
At the sight, the girl first started to breath faster but it qucikly became a full breakdown. She fell to her knees and cried, not caring about anything at the moment. Her brother noticing his sister states, decided to hug her, not knowing what to do. The man had the same feeling. Sure he often saw children cry in a place he lived. But seeing a kid cry because their parents died before their eyes. At least by seeing them, he finally undestood. This whole revolution, this dream shouldn't, COULDN'T, be reached by walking on dead bodies. He looked at his gaunlets, only feeling shame at the moment. He decided that this madness will end today. The man decided to take off his metal gloves. He also decided that he couldn't leave these kids like that. So he took both children into his arms. As he was walking to the side of the bridge, a little girl suddenly came out behind one of the statues, holding a small handmade bow in her hand. Noticing a famillar figure, she took her bow down, looking at the man with wide eyes. Her eyes were quickly filled up with tears as she run to hug the mans legs. She didn't say anything, she just cried from relief, that her parent figure came back. Since he was holding two other kids, he couldn't hug her back. The man just gave her a look of approval, then he started walking to the other side once again. The girl with (h/c) only looked at his back, finally noticing two kids in his arms. She just looked at them with curiosity and waved at them shyly, while walking after all of them. She didn't say anything to them, not wanting to trigger them. She knew that something bad must've happened, the look on the mans face said all that needed to be known. The blue haired boy also looked at here with wide eyes, waving back at her. But the girl didn't notice any of them. She was looking up at Piltover and then she looked down to the Enforces that just came to the scene. With a pure look of hatred, she clenched her fist, making sure to hate the upsiders with all her heart.
