After calling my tutor and apologizing for the late notice, I settled down in the unfamiliar room. It would be a while before I could return to my studies again. I could feel it getting boring by the minute as silence filled the room.
There was not much to do, but Ego was kind enough to let me be accompanied by a volleyball. Great, just great. Sighing, I looked at the monitor close to the desk. It was filled with security camera footage, one of each group bundling up together. Seemingly so, Ego was serious about me being a helper in this project.
"Fuck.." I muttered under my breath, ruffling my hair as I got up. "This is not cool, Ego.."

Rosé walked around the place with no sense of direction, neglecting her 'duties' for a moment. It was huge, definitely a space to cramp in 300 high schoolers. If only they did this for volleyball.
She stopped at the cafeteria, her eyes darting around while her mind drifted to the memories of the past. This wasn't the life she thought she'd have at all. It was difficult to adjust, to know that she was a mouse being hunted by those hideous, hungry felines. To her, people are too greedy. They could have everything they wanted and they would want more. Why did she have to be put in this position at such a youth?
Her thoughts were broken by the voice on the speakers.
"Fukui, an injured student on Team Z. Proceed to the lowest floor."
Rosé glanced up with furrowed eyebrows, turning her heels and walking to wherever she needed to go. Sure, it was infuriating that she was following Ego's orders but at least she had something to do.
Her legs took her there as she reminded herself to get used to this place for a few months. She groaned inwardly, preparing to potentially make a fool out of herself. Standing in front of the door, it opened in an instant, not giving her any time to react. The boys would immediately stare at her as she blinked slowly.
"Excuse me for my intrusion, I heard someone was injured." She spoke calmly, not having any desire to clown herself here.
The boys looked at her in surprise. Some were flushed, some were confused and others didn't seem to mind it. Ego was watching from the screen and she stared back at him, mentally punching that grim look on his face.
"He already left..."
...
"Ah." Maybe she got there a little too late, trying to find her way here. "I'll find him then, thank you."
"W-wait! I am also injured!" A voice spoke out in a loud tone. This made Rosé sigh quietly, turning her head towards the person. A bald boy with a bleeding nose. Must've hurt.
"Yet, you're still standing." She spoke out bluntly, tilting her head slightly as she stared at him with unintended intensity. The boy could only flinch, laughing nervously at her words. With that, she gave them a last glance before walking off to find that injured boy.
Rosé's eyes scanned around before she jogged along the hallway. There, she spotted a guy with his back towards her. With a hesitant gulp, she stroked up her courage to call out for him.
"You're injured.". She stated bluntly, trying to take a breather. Her voice made him stop. "Let me-"
As he turned around, her voice immediately trailed off. That look on his face was... wild. It lingered with frustration..and possibly the fact that his dreams were finished in a flash. She took a careful step forward, her eyes observing his face. It looked bad.
