Chapter 6: Everything

Alaric's Pov.

I purchased the items I needed , hoping it would work. I turned around and went to the front of the store, Ulrich stood there and looked at me.
"Uhm, yea, he just ran.."

"What!" I yelled out angrily, I hurried out the door and looked both ways.
I seen the flash of white in the distance,

"Son of a bitch... what did you say to him " I yelled at Ulrich as we ran.
I seen Luka turn into a pub.
I stopped.
"Fuck..Tell me he did not just go in there."

Ulrich winced,
"Well, that's too bad, he's gone, lost cause, let's go-" he started walking.
I picked him up by the back of his neck.
" This is your fault. I know you blurted out something you shouldn't have. So now You are going to fix it. Otherwise im going to turn you into a Halloween decoration. " I said as I put him on my shoulder. He shuttered and huffed as I made my way over to the pub.

"Fine.. fine.. I'll distract them."
I took a deep breath, and opened the door to the pub , stepping inside.
"Good Kitty" I said smugly.

He hissed at me and jumped off , disappearing from my sight.
I kept my head down, moving past demons, warlocks, witches, elves, and other creatures..
a werewolf watched me.. seething.

I looked around trying to find him.
Until I heard giggling.
I went further into the pub.

I stopped and hid behind a pillar, peeking out.

There he was, in the corner booth with a bunch of pixies. Petting him and giving nothing but their attention to him as he sulked.
I dropped my head.
For fucks sake.
Out of Everyone here , Those are the ones he decides to make friends with ...
My god...

I groaned.
Fuck...

I sighed and walked up to them, they turned to look at me and gasped.
"What do You want Alaric .. "
"Yeah, why are you here.."
"Come to deceive us again?"
"Come to play?"

"Yeah did you come to play.." one said suggestively, the others gave her a look.
I chuckled and sighed.

"No. No playing.. You 4 have something I want."
I said pointing at Luka. He was staring down into a flower cup. It glowed pink.
They were smart I'll give them that.
They knew he was blind so they were taking advantage of his other senses, like taste, smell and sound...starting with that drink.
"Come on, there's others here you ladies can play with. This one is too delicate "

They whined and refused.
"He's also being hunted, so unless you wanna be involved w-"
They flew by, leaving in a hurry.

I rolled my eyes.
I sat down next to him, and shook him.
"Luka, Luka wake up. We gotta go." I said snapping my fingers. Nothing. He was locked in a frozen trance.
"Jesus Christ. See this is why you don't fucking run off like a child."
I sighed and took the flower , smelling the elixer.

"Well aren't they just cunning.."

I picked him up and carried him out of the pub, ignoring the looks I got as I went back out to the street. Ulrich caught up with me in my stride.
"Good work, he's still alive. I thought he'd been eaten by now" he said.

"Trust me, he was almost dessert"I said.
I looked down at him as I carried him in my arms.
"Hear that? You were almost dessert, I saved your ass Again. So whatever the hell this menace blurted out to you, don't assume the worse."
He was frozen as I sighed in annoyance as I carried him.

"It's much more fun to argue when you respond anyway .."I muttered.

We headed through the streets, finally coming to a very small run down cottage. Only porch light was on.
"Ah Here we are." I said kicking the gate open.
I unlocked the door and carried him inside,
"Ulrich, lights"

Candles lit up around the room in one swift motion.
Not my favorite place to work but desperate times call for desperate measures..

I laid Luka down on the couch.
Suddenly red and pink flashed in and up from the basement.
"Good , you guys are here. Where's Quinn?" I asked looking around.
"He said he would -"

But he walked through the door at the moment.
"Present" he said locking the door behind him.
"Did you get everything?" He asked looking through the materials.
"No I forgot something on purpose.." I muttered.
"Can we atleast undo this trance spell he's under right now. I know he's probably freaking the fuck out."

They all placed a hand on him.
Quinn placed his hand on his forehead, Roman placed his hand over his heart, Felix placed a hand over his mouth, and I placed my hand over his eyes.

We focused, and concentrated by drawing out the elixir from those areas, the bloodstream catching up , as pink and purple swirled out from him, dissipating into the area.
"Don't breathe it in." I said fast.
We all held our breath until the pink and purple glow completely vanished.
We let go of him, all catching out breathes.
I snapped in front of his eyes, forcing him to wake up.

He sat up in a panic looking around, terrified.
"W-where am I , what's going on, what happened -" he started freaking out
I sighed.
"Calm down. You're safe. You're in a safe place with me, Quinn, Roman, and Felix. Now lay down and relax. " I said

He pulled away,
"N-no! Tell me what the Fuck is going on?!!!" He yelled.

"Jesus Christ.. what'd you do to him Alaric.." Roman asked crossing his arms.

I rolled my eyes.
"I didn't do Shit.. that menace started it.."
I said pointing to the corner as Ulrich licked his paws.

"Will someone PLEASE TELL ME what the FUCK is going on?!!!!" Luka yelled.
I covered his mouth, and looked in his eyes.
"Shut up and Listen to me.  There's a lot you don't know yet, there's a lot we need to tell you.
About us, about this world, and your world outside of ours. And we will. But right now, for just Right now, let me try to get your original vision back." I said removing my hand as I held his face.
"I saved you twice today, I'm not going to hurt you. So just trust me, and lay back down "
I sighed

He nodded slowly , and laid down reluctantly.

"Quinn, is it ready" I asked.

"Yep. Here we are" he said handing everyone a shot glass full of black liquid.

"Oh my god.. I don't even Want to know.." Roman said, Felix nodded.

I sighed,
"Just hold onto me and drink it."

They did so, a hand on both my shoulders and one on the back of my neck.

I held the side of Lukas face in both of my hands as I focused all my strength and their energy plus my own into trying to heal his eyes.
"Just hold on for me.."
I said as I tried to power through .
Luka gripped the couch his back arching as he shook.
White glowed out from his face, a bright light almost blinding me.
Until it went dark, the candles all blew out as Luka screamed .

I was thrown back, falling onto the floor.
I rushed up and back to him,
He laid there , his head turned , his eyes closed ..tears having streaked down .

"Did it..did it work?" Felix asked.

I sighed and laid my forehead down pressing against his hand. On my knees.

"No..no I don't think so"

Suddenly the entire place lit up, lights turned on, candles glowed.
They all gasped.
I stared down at his hand.
Until I felt it.
I felt his other hand softly guide into my hair , petting my head. I trembled as I looked up in disbelief.

He watched me , staring in awe, as his hand moved over my features, his blue eyes back, darker.
"Can you- can you see me" I asked searching his eyes my hand cradling his face.
He nodded slowly.

"Everything...." He croaked..

"I see.. Everything " he whispered..
