~Chapter 19~

(Sonic's POV)

Suddenly, Eggman's ship shoots a laser and the next thing I know, I'm knocked unconcious for about a few seconds, I slowly wake up, my vision blurry but my eyes snap open seeing Tom and Maddie quickly decending, I let out a yelp of suprise. If I don't do something they'll fall to their death, I quickly look around, seeings my rings  all around me, I try to grab one but it prooves difficult as it's hard to move when you're falling. "COME ON!" I snap, trying to grab the ring. "COME COME COME ON!!" I snap again but I just can't reach the darn thing! Tom and Maddie are screaming and if I can't get this ring they'll die! I get an idea, snapping one of my quills off and grabbing the ring on it, speeding down the building and throwing the ring, opening it to a farmhouse with hay, I watch in relief as they fall into the hay and the ring closes. But I soon realise I'm going way too fast to stop... "WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH-!" I exclaim, trying to stop but I can't, I slam straight into a tree, grunting withe evry hit as I fall through the tree and flat on my stomach, then seconds later, my rings and bits of broken drones rain down around me, I groan in pain, looking up, a ring suddenly opens in my face and Y/N comes out, she looks a little pissed off, but mostly relieved that I'm okay.

(Tom's POV)

Sonic throws a ring and it opens to a farmhouse with hay, Maddie and I thankfully land safely. 

"Oh, hi Tom! Glad you're here! Could use some help, old Bessey's about to give birth!" 

"Give me a minute...." I respond, Maddie sighs.

(Y/N'S POV)

I rush to Sonic, helping him up as he groans a bit in pain, he's got sticks sticking out of his quills and he's covered in dirt. "Sonic, what we're you thinking?! You could've been killed!" I snap, dusting him off, Sonic rolls his eyes, probably still mad at me for refusing to belive in him.

"But I-!" Robotnik suddenly appears in his ship thing, startling me but I face him, livid with anger, I swear I'm gonna decimate this fucker!

"Can I give you one genius piece of advice? Don't run, It'll only hurt more if you do...and it's bad for your joints they've proved it!" Robotnik snarks, sounding pleased with himself, Sonic suddenly pushes me off him, my ears flatten slightly, it's not like him to be like this at all... I snarl at Robotnik, my hatred growing.

"All right Eggman, you wanna get fast? Let's get fast!" Sonic retorts, speeding around and picking up all his rings off the floor before suddenly grabbing my hand and taking off running with me trailing behind, I speed off to keep up with him, our blue and f/c trail leaving Robotnik behind in our dust!

"The hard way it is." Robotnik responds, speeding after us in his ship, Sonic and I weave through cars and buildings, trying to lose sight of Robotnik as he shoots huge bullets out of his ship. "That was an illegal left by the way!" I hear him say, I roll my eyes continuing to run with Sonic.
