"Pen get up your going to be late." I hear my friend say as she's shaking me.
"Alright, I'm up Jesus." I say as I open my eyes to find my roommate, Kelsey standing over me.
I get up from my bed and put on my sweats.
It's not like anybody's going to judge me, everybody dresses this way here. I brush my hair and put it into a messy bun.
"Damn it."
"Whats wrong?" Kelsey asks.
"I forgot to charge my computer last night and it's dead." I say annoyed.
I have to take notes on paper instead of typing it. I don't know how people back then didn't live without technology. It's so useful in this generation, everybody depends on it.
"Okay, Kels I'll see you in a couple hours. There's that party tonight, so we can get ready together right?"
"Yep sounds like a date." She smiles.
I roll my eyes and smile at the same time. I leave the dorms and head down to Starbucks to grab myself some coffee.

"Hey, Penelope!" I hear someone shout, I turn around and find my friend Matt.
"Hey Matt, do you want to come to Starbucks with me since we both have a lecture in a couple?"
"Sure, but I have a question."
"Okay ask away." I smile
"So um I'm supposed to take Bianca out tonight and I want to go somewhere nice but not too fancy you know?" Matt says.
I think of all the places I've been to and seen around here and finally choose one.
"How about Olive Garden? It's a nice place, not really fancy and not too expensive."
"That's a great idea! Thanks Pen!" He says as he pulls me into a hug. I hug him back and we continue our walk to Starbucks.
Bianca is Matts somewhat new girlfriend. She's beautiful, long jet black straight hair, and brown eyes.
God I wish I had brown eyes, I just think my green eyes are boring. I never liked the color green it's just something I never liked.
We grab our coffee and head down to the lecture and sit next to each other. The lecture is boring, as always.

We say our goodbyes after the lecture. Matt and I are both art majors at UVA. We both became friends quickly and have been since the first day of school.

I get back to my dorm room to find it empty. Kelsey must be in class. I put my stuff down and grab my towel and toiletries bag and head down to the showers.

My shower lasts about 15 minutes, and I head back to my room after.
I open the door and my eyes immediately meet Kelsey's.
"Hey where were you? I just got out of the shower." I ask out of curiosity.
"Oh i just went down to Rite aid because I ran out of mascara. Oh! And I bought you an AriZona." She points down to my nightstand.
"Awe thanks Kels." I say as I go in for a hug. She returns the gesture.
I look though my closet and find the perfect black cutout dress.
I immediately put it on and look at the mirror. This dress hugs my curves in all the right places and makes my boobs look fantastic.
"Jesus. You look so sexy."
"You think?" I say running my hands down the dress.
"No I know. Damn your going to get so many men." She giggles.
I laugh along and decide that i'm going to straighten my hair.

I first blow dry my hair and then start to straighten it. I do a simple makeup look.
Mascara, eyeliner, concealer, and then some Kylie liquid lipstick.
"Alright i'm ready." She turns around and she's wearing a white lacy dress with her blonde hair curled to perfection.
"You look great! Let's go!" I say and grab my phone and $10.

We walk out the room and Kelsey locks up the dorm room. I walk so i'm walking backwards and I bump into something, no somebody.
"Oh my god i'm sorry." A heavy British accent says clearly surprised.
I look up to the stranger and recognize him immediately.
"Wait I know you." I say picking myself up from the ground.
"What? Wait. Penelope Carmichael?" He says gazing at me with big green eyes.
"Harry Styles." I laugh.
We both go in for a hug and it's so familiar that I don't want it to end.
"You go to school here?"
"Yep just got in actually my dad had to make a few calls." He laughs smiling.
"Gosh I haven't seen you since you left for England in 7th grade."
Harry had to leave because his grandmother was dying and they had to go back to England to care for her.
"It's been so long. Hey your going to the party right mind if I Join?"
I look over at Kelsey who is stand awkwardly and she gives me a nod and a smile.
"Of course you can come, and this is my friend Kelsey."
They both shake hands and smile.
"Okay one second I need to grab my phone I accidentally left it in my room which is surprisingly across from yours."
I laugh.
He runs in and grabs it and locks up.
"Okay lets go." I say
