Ryder stood at the edge of the clearing, his eyes glowing with fury. Felly lingered beside him, her lips curled in a smirk, eyes glittering with a dangerous intensity. His wolves gathered behind him, forming a pack that was no longer just a scattered group of rogues. His pack, The Nightshade Pack, was growing stronger, more ferocious with every passing week.

They had a singular goal: destroy Alex and his pack.

"I'll end him," Ryder growled, voice rough with hate. His gaze cut through the trees where Alex's territory began. "He's taken enough from me."

Felly pressed against Ryder, her body a comforting warmth. "We'll make sure of it," she whispered. "Your pack is ready. We're growing, stronger with each day."

Ryder turned to her, his hands trailing possessively down her back. His relationship with Felly had become more than just passion. She understood his hunger for revenge, fed into it, and it only made their connection more explosive. They spent nights together, their bodies entwined as they plotted Alex's downfall, Felly whispering words of encouragement and promises of power.

Despite his burning feelings for Felly, Luna's presence still lingered in his mind. The guilt gnawed at him. He hadn't seen her in weeks, knowing it would only complicate things. But part of him couldn't resist—he craved the feeling of Luna's warmth and innocence, the part of him that she still controlled.

Meanwhile, Luna's life had become increasingly tangled. Jack had fallen hard for her, offering stability and comfort that Ryder never could. But her mind wandered, often drifting back to Ryder and their stolen moments. She felt torn between Jack's unwavering love and Ryder's dangerous allure.

Jack, unaware of Luna's inner conflict, had fallen deeper for her. He saw Luna as his future, even though she still had Ryder's scent lingering in her thoughts.

Over at Alex's territory, the stakes were higher than ever. His responsibilities were piling up. He couldn't focus on Ryder alone. Maya's pregnancy weighed heavily on his mind. After her confession, Alex had sworn to protect her and their unborn child at all costs. He didn't know how Maya's pregnancy would affect their place in the pack or how Ryder would react if he ever found out.

One night, after another intense battle with Ryder's forces, Alex returned to his den, exhausted and bloodied. Maya was waiting for him, her eyes wide with concern.

"You're hurt again," she whispered, rushing to his side. "How long can we keep doing this?"

Alex winced, pressing a hand to his side where claw marks were still healing. "As long as it takes. Ryder won't stop."

Maya sat beside him, her hand gently resting on her growing belly. "And what about our child, Alex? This war can't continue forever."

Alex met her gaze, his heart aching at the sight of her fear. He kissed her softly, brushing a thumb over her cheek. "I'm not going to let Ryder take anything from us, Maya. Not you. Not our child."

But deep down, Alex knew the war between him and Ryder was far from over.

Part 26: A Growing Threat

Over the next several weeks, Ryder's attacks grew bolder. His pack, the Nightshade Pack, had grown, pulling in rogues from the edges of the territory, wolves hungry for power and revenge. They trained ruthlessly in the shadows of the forest, sharpening their claws and teeth for the next attack.

Felly had become more involved in Ryder's plans, proving herself as his queen. She had a natural affinity for combat and strategy, something that only deepened Ryder's admiration for her. They would spend nights entwined in passion, Felly's words fueling Ryder's anger and thirst for Alex's destruction.
