Silver was hiding behind a wall with a bouquet of Marigolds in his hands, which were shaking slightly as he peeked his head out from behind the wall to look at Rose. She was Miss Sol’s and Chaos' daughter, which made her quite popular in Paradise. He had a huge crush on Rose because of how kind and beautiful she was. Rose was currently standing near a window and humming to herself quietly, not aware of Silver’s presence. As he was staring at her lovingly, He heard a voice behind him.

“Yo Silver!” Silver jumped and turned around, and saw Sonic and Shadow standing behind him. Sonic had a goofy grin on his face, while Shadow was standing there with an emotionless expression. “Sonic, you scared me!” Silver cried out with a surprised tone in his voice. Sonic laughed. “Well it isn’t my fault you were standing here blushing like a tomato!” Silver didn’t say anything and just turned his head away from them, looking back up at the gorgeous Deer by the window.

“Your in love with the Princess, aren’t you?” Shadow asked, his expressionless expression not changing. Silver nodded in response. “Y-Yeah, I am. She’s just so pretty and kind, and just… just beautiful, inside and out.” Sonic smiled and asked, “Why don’t you ask her out then?” Silver blushed even more after hearing that. “I, I can’t do that! I mean, she’s the Princess, the next heir to the throne of Paradise, and I’m nothing close to that!” Sonic sighed and put his hand on his shoulder. “You won’t know unless you try bud.” Just then, he gently pushed Silver out from behind the wall. He gave Silver a thumbs up. “Go get her, you can do it!”

Silver took a deep breath and gently tightened his grip around the Bouquet of flowers. He started walking toward Rose with a nervous smile. “Um, Princess Rosé?” Rose turned to face Silver, her Deep Pink Eyes looking back at him. She smiled as he approached her. “Hello Silver, how are you doing today?” Silver smiled back at her. “I’m doing great actually. Um, I bought these flowers for you!” He handed Rose the bouquet of Marigolds. She gasped in surprise when she saw what kind of flowers they were. “Marigolds?! I love them! How did you know these are my favorites?” Silver blushed a little bit with a small smile. “I-I asked Blaze about what kind of flowers you like, and she told me you really like Marigolds. So, I managed to get these… for you.” Rose giggled and wrapped her arms around him, embracing him in a hug.

“Thank you so much Silver, I will treat these flowers with the greatest care!” Rose turned to leave, but then, Silver took her hand and squeezed it gently, “Um, I wanted to ask you something.” Rose looked back at him. “What is it?” Silver took a deep breath and looked up at her, his blush increasing. “I’ve wanted to ask you this for a while, but I was always too nervous to do so. What I want to ask you is… do you wanna go out with me?” Rose’s eyes widened a little bit before she smiled happily and blushed. “I would love that! Yes, I will go out with you!” Silver’s blush grew even more and he smiled happily. “T-Thats great! How about tomorrow night? We could go looking at the stars, maybe drink Chocolate Milk together, or maybe-” Rose cut him off as she took his hands. “We could do that stuff, but maybe also a sleepover in my room? I could show you all my artwork and we could maybe look at the stars closer with my Telescope!” Silver quickly nodded happily. “Yes, anything you want. Whatever you want will always make me happy, Rose!” Rose giggled happily and nodded. “Alright then, I will be waiting until then. But for now,  Let’s go for a walk throughout Paradise!” She took his hand as she started running off, laughing happily. “Gahh! Rose, slow down!!!” Silver cried as she ran off.

Sonic and Shadow watched the whole thing and saw Rose running off with Silver, who kept begging for her to slow down. Sonic laughed with a smirk while Shadow gave them a small smile. As Rose was running, Silver smiled at her. This was the best day of his life here, and had a feeling it would get better from here on out!!!
